Is the Gog war on the horizon?

Watching Turkey closely now that Erdogan has moved Turkish troops into Syria.

Syria is more unstable than ever now!

There is a meeting coming up between the Pope and Erdogan on Feb 4, 5. One of the subjects they will discuss is Jerusalem (because of President Trump's latest declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel).

Erdogan is absolutely LIVID about what President Trump did! And the Pope has been outspoken against it.

Erdogan and Imams throughout Turkey have evoked the "Conquest" prayers from the Qur'an for their move into Syria. I doubt 'the booty' promised by Allah to his 'warriors' in this particular prayer will be anything the Kurds have and big parts of Syria have been trashed/looted/destroyed...thus I believe Erdogan's ultimate goal is Israel. Taking Jerusalem. I believe that the promised booty is in Israel.

When I saw this prayer promising 'booty' to the soldiers, I immediately thought of Ezekiel 38. The armies attacking Israel are there to 'take a booty' ('to take a spoil') and the rest of the world is shocked at this and declares this.

G-d puts hooks in Gog's jaws and drags him down to Israel - that 'hook' may well have been President Trump's declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Erdogan called it a red line that no Muslim would allow to be crossed!

There are students of Bible prophecy who believe from Turkey will come the leader, Gog. Refer to Joel Richardson's maps on Prophezine: Where is Magog, Meshech and Tubal?

Erdogan is considered a 'messiah' in his country and the 'would-be Caliph' of the Muslim world.

It may be a good idea to watch Turkey while their Operation Olive Branch continues in Syria. This move into Syria may be the beginnings of the move on Israel in the Gog war! With Persia, Ethiopia, Libya eventually joining in. This Qur'an prayer is for ALL Muslims, not just those from Turkey.

I'm not firm on who Gog/Magog is (Turkey, Russia, ?) - but what is happening now in Syria is getting a big heads up from me.

I remember Natan, the young Jewish boy, and his NDE vision - he said that Gog is Obama. Thus, we may not have seen the end of Obama's connections in the Middle East.

“Jerusalem is our honour, Jerusalem is our common cause, Jerusalem is our red line,” he added, urging the Trump administration to “return from this grave mistake immediately”.

Deputy Prime Minister (of Turkey) Bekir Bozdag said the expected US move risked igniting a “fire” in the Middle East and will prove a “great disaster”.

The recognition will “throw the region and the world into a fire and it’s not known when it will end”, Bozdag, also government spokesman, wrote on Twitter.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu told reporters in Brussels ahead of meeting US counterpart Rex Tillerson that the move is a “mistake” that “will not bring stability and peace but rather chaos and instability.”

Asked whether he would bring the issue up with Tillerson, the minister said: “I have already told him and I will tell him again.”

Erdogan had warned on Tuesday that the status of Jerusalem is a “red line” for Muslims and could even prompt Turkey to cut ties with Israel.

The Turkish leader – who regards himself as a champion of the Palestinian cause – is due to hold talks later in Ankara with Jordanian King Abdullah II who is also a strong opponent of the move.

Surah al-Fath is the 48th chapter of the Qur’an. It promises Muslims who wage jihad much material reward: “Allah has promised you much booty that you will take and has hastened for you this and withheld the hands of people from you – that it may be a sign for the believers and He may guide you to a straight path” (48:20).

It also contains this command:”Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; and those with him are ruthless against the unbelievers, merciful among themselves” (48:29).

This is the message that the Turkish government is giving to its soldiers as it sends them against the Kurds. It’s interesting in light of the fact that Islamic apologists in the West routinely insist that such verses apply only to seventh-century situations, and not to today in any way, shape or form. The Diyanet didn’t get the memo.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is scheduled to pay an official visit to the Vatican and Rome on Feb. 4-5, the presidential press office said on Feb. 1.

Erdoğan will meet with Pope Francis as well as Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican’s secretary of state, said a statement by the office.

The leaders are expected to discuss bilateral relations, the latest development on Jerusalem, regional issues, the humanitarian tragedy in Syria and the fight against terrorism, xenophobia and Islamophobia.

Along with Erdoğan, Francis was one of the most prominent international leaders to criticize the United States’s decision last December to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

Erdoğan’s visit will be the first Turkish presidential trip to the Vatican in 59 years.
