I recently read an article where the author was trying to understand why ISIS is against everyone, like Ishmael.

As if it seems to be they are trying to get everyone into the Middle East for one, giant, last war.

At least that appears to be how they see it, the islamic apocalypse, where they destroy all the crusaders.

And it looks like the shiites are also looking for something very similar.

They all seem to be awaiting their mahdi, and his side-kick, whom they call issa.

Apparently the completion of that battle will then, at least in their minds, free them up to take Jerusalem.

If that is true, then they are acting a little like those three unclean spirits like frogs, that will come in Revelation 16.
