Having a closer look at the front page of The Economist magazine - titled 'The World in 2015', I realised the connection between the figure of Alice (in Wonderland) at the bottom right hand corner of the picture and the LHC in Cern. The acronym for the actual machine that will be doing all the work is ALICE. There is a lot of fear about this thing starting up - dire consequences. The dates on the arrows, in front of the figure of Alice are 11.3 and 11.5 - which are the months in which the LHC will be conducting this massive 'experiment'. I found the Pied Piper (left hand side of the picture) intriguing. Notice the clown fish behind him? Could this allude to a mass disappearance of some sort? Honestly - these wretched elite's and their cryptic symbology!!
