Suddenly - (Almost) No Time for Revival!!In a Five Doves letter dated 27 February 2012, I drew attention to two visions of revival that were 48 years apart: Two Visions - Liquid Light Raining (Hicks, 1961) and Rain of Fire (Susan Omara, 2009). They are remarkable visions of revival and may be at the threshold of being fulfilled, even though only limited evidence may be evident at present. Why do I say Almost No Time for Revival? The reason is that I believe in a pre-tribulation Rapture and a subsequent seven year period, primarily (albeit not only) for the perfecting of His Eternal Purposes for Israel (the time/week of Jacob’s trouble) The 50th year from the liberation of Jerusalem is just two years away (7 June 2017), and the 70th year from Israel’s miraculous birth as a nation is just over three years away (15 May 2018). The Jewish calendar does affect the timing (date of remembrance) of these events.
I am writing this letter on Saturday night, 7 February 2015. This date has been (exactly) book-ended by two major fire events in Australia; Tasmania on 7 February 1967 and Victoria on 7 February 2009. Both were very sad events that involved considerable loss of life, and extensive property losses. I was living in Hobart when the Tasmanian fires occurred on Black Tuesday. The Victorian fires are remembered as the Black Saturday fires. There is exactly 42 years between the two fire events. A year has passed since my last update on Australian timelines. If this timeframe is guide to the possible outbreak of revival, including in Australia, then we are at the very door! Just clicking into the 49th year, and just one year from the Jubilee or 50th year. While as we know, we are to expect the Rapture of the Bride/Overcoming Church at any time, the work of the Holy Spirit - the Spirit of Holiness and the Spirit of Truth - released in this revival may prepare the Bride for Christ!!
Ephesians 5:26,27: So that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word, 27 That He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendour, without spot or wrinkle or any such things. .
Personal confirmation: six years ago tomorrow (Sunday 8 February 2009), I spoke on the Rain of Fire prophecy and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. I was aware of the Susan Omara prophecy and several days before I had already planned the broad theme of my preaching and the title Rain of Fire! The Victorian fires moved through very rapidly on the Saturday, and by Sunday some of the newspaper headlines reflected this title - Rain of Fire. We didn’t learn the full extent of the fires until later on Sunday and the following days. Many lost their lives because they were not prepared.
The years have rolled by, six years in fact! The signs of the nearness of the Lord’s Return are quite astronomical!! As has been pointed out in Five Doves letters, the coming 20 March 2015 Total Solar eclipse followed by the Total Lunar eclipse on 4 April 2015 (one of the four blood red moons in the Tetrad) are a trumpet call to get ready - to be prepared!! As I was musing on this letter, I remembered Israel as they marched around Jericho. Once on the first six days, then seven times on the seventh day!! Perhaps this signals the type of year that lies ahead - a time of sharp acceleration of God’s eternal purposes for the Church, Israel and the World!!
Joshua 6: See! I have given Jericho into your hand, 3 You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days. 4 And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up every man straight before him.”
