Oscars - the Double Sign of Seth - Son of Adam - and Phonetic Saith
In the midst of so many signs appearing before our eyes, and very much pointing to Passover in March 2013 and ensuing months as critical timelines in God’s Eternal Purposes, we may have missed one - Seth @ the Oscars. There are two aspects on this that are noteworthy: first, Seth as a special son for Adam and Eve and as Enoch’s Father, and secondly, the Phonetic Saith/Seth - prophecies about to be fulfilled!

What was interesting about this year’s Oscars ceremony is that the host was mainly referred to as just Seth. In recent years the full name was usually given (for example, Hugh Jackman or Billy Crystal). Details of the host Seth MacFarlane are available on the Wikipedia link below. Amongst other things, he is referred to as being an atheist. However, it is poignant to realise that on 11 September 2001 his life was preserved miraculously - as the quote from Wikipedia below shows. Perhaps like many others he may come to understand how the God that he appears not to believe in actually saved his life! And even more poignantly, others gave their lives, just as Jesus has given His life for us.

September 11, 2001 experience - Seth’s life preserved!
On the morning of September 11, 2001, MacFarlane was scheduled to return to Los Angeles on American Airlines Flight 11 from Boston. Suffering from a hangover from the previous night's celebrations,[125] and with an incorrect departure time (8:15 a.m. instead of 7:45 a.m.) from his travel agent,[126] he arrived at Logan International Airport about ten minutes too late to board the flight as the gates had been closed.[126] Fifteen minutes after departure, American Airlines Flight 11 was hijacked,[127] and at 8:46 a.m. it was flown into the North Tower of the World Trade Center, obliterating the airplane, and killing everyone on board.[128]
Seth - the Special Son of Adam and Eve - Replacement for Abel
From Bible Chronology (link below) we read: Whereas Abel was a type of the crucified Christ, Seth was a type of the resurrected Christ. Seth took the place of the murdered Abel as the seed through whom the promised redeemer would come (Genesis 4:25), his name meaning appointed or substitute. Abel was a type of Christ in his death, whereas Seth points to His triumphant resurrection! The promised Messiah would come through the seed of Seth, not the carnal Cain. So in the genealogy of Jesus we read: the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God (Luke 3:38).

Genesis 5:3: When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, after his image; and he named him Seth. Genesis 5:7: Seth lived after the birth of Enosh 807 years and had other sons and daughters. Genesis 5:8: So Seth lived 912 years, and he died.
The Phonetic Seth/Saith - Thus saith the Lord!
It seems more than coincidental that the name of the host of this year’s Oscars (Seth) has the phonetic sound of the classic prophetic introduction: Thus saith the Lord! I am grateful that, with many others on websites like Five Doves, we have been watching and waiting for the Lord’s Return. We have been patient, but we now: feel in our spiritual bones; see in the signs in the heavens and on Earth; and are amazed as we watch the insights of God’s mathematicians that His Coming is imminent! He is at the very Door!
This Coming of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ includes the fulfilment of all that the Prophets, who suffered so much, have spoken! One important comment is that the Minor Prophets are not so minor! Sadly most Christians are unaware that the prophetic wave is about to move across the face of the Earth - but our redemption, the Rapture, is drawing near! We can but warn in love. Recently (Sunday 17 February 2013) the Lord gave me a prophetic Word titled for our local Church in Canberra. I have this below for those Doves who may be interested.

This, I believe, portrays the magnitude of the unveiling of the fulfilment of prophecies from the Word of God and those spoken by (true) prophets today! The Book of Revelation is the Revelation of Jesus Christ - His unveiling!

Lone Surfer and Surf Lifeboat on the Big Wave
I feel to share what the Lord has shown me. It’s a familiar sign that you have seen on your TV screens of a very large wave, one that just seems impossible that anyone could take on and survive. Yet there’s a lone surfer who takes on the wave, and no matter the cost he takes that wave on. And I believe this speaks of Jesus who has gone before, who has taken on all the power of the enemy, who has gone to the Cross, who has taken on that wave - he was crucified but He rose again!
And then I look and the scene changes, and this time it’s a surf life boat and, following on from what Jacqueline was sharing about helmsmen, there is a helmsman on the boat. The whole boat is taking on the wave because we can follow in Jesus’ s footsteps. There’s One who is at the helm of that boat standing and giving it guidance, giving it direction, giving it strength and taking away all the fear for those who are in the boat. And so it is that Jesus is in charge, Jesus is the one that we look to.
I believe that what is happening in the world is like all of the things that the prophets for thousands of years have spoken, and the prophecies that have been given to each one. There are prophecies that have been given to this church - it’s all becoming like a huge wave, and in the midst of it there’s Jesus (the helmsman) standing and directing and giving strength and courage to those in the boat, and saying these words, “When these things begin to come to pass, look up for your redemption draws nigh”. Your, Saviour is coming in Revival power and also coming to take you to be with Himself, saith the Lord.
