Dear friends:

The Bible codes, specifically the first five books of the Bible, or Torah, are an interesting phenomenon.  The claim is that within equidistant letter spacing in the Bible, one may find secret codes that may describe upcoming future events.

For about the past 20 years I have been an off-and-on observer of this phenomenon and have read many reports and analyses.  Frankly, few have had any valid or accurate conclusions.  I have become skeptical about their value to predict.

However, analyses by one group of individuals always attract my serious attention -- that is, when the work is done by Jewish scholars.

A recently published work by some of these scholars points to Jewish year 5772, or AD2012, for major prophetic events, specifically Passover -- April 6 through 14, 2012.

One writer argues more specifically that the big day will be the seventh day of Passover (April 13th, 2012).

A TV report on this was done by KMPH-TV FOX 26, Central San Joaquin Valley, Fresno, California:
Their excellent repot is at http://www.kmph-kfre.com/story/16664855/kmph-special-report-bible-codes-2012

If nothing happens on Passover, keep looking up because one of my favorite Bible scholars, Marilyn Agee, sees the possibility of the rapture on Ascension Day, May 17, 2012, the day Jesus ascended (was raptured).

Consider all this in light of current world and national events.

If you are still of the mindset that God will not reveal the day, please review the overwhelming biblical evidence that He will reveal it in my essay at http://www.choicesforliving.com/docs/canweknow.htm

Let us hope!
