time lurker & occasional poster at 5
doves.Unlike
most on the forum, I
believescripture
teaches a
post-tribulational coming of the Lord with no prior catching
away.
The scripture
you are referring to in 1 Thes 4:16-18
which informs us there is to be a resurrection of believers
followed by the
public and glorious return of Christ Jesus and catching away
of those who
believe.This is
I believe, the key
scripture to clarify the sequence of events with regard to the
second coming of
Christ.It should
be coupled with Rev
20:4-6, which tells us that the resurrection, and consequently
Jesus return,
can not come until after the antichrist has declared himself
(at the midpoint
of the tribulation period).
