(Will all those with the mark of the beast have perished by the time of the second advent?)
Revelation 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
(That looks to be worldwide, but then comes the warning from the third angel flying in the midst of heaven:)
Revelation 14:6a And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven,
8a And there followed another angel,
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
(So, people all over the world have a choice, to receive the mark, or to not receive the mark.If they do not receive the mark, they will not be able to buy or sell, thus possibly homeless, hungry, and in some cases put to death. But if they do receive the mark they will be tormented with fire and brimstone, forever and ever. The choice will be between extremely terrible for a time that has an end, or unfathomably terrible, continuously, without end.So, by the time the vials of wrath are poured out, it appears that not everyone has the mark, as there is a distinction between those who have the mark, and those who do not:)
Revelation 16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
(And it may be possible that this may be more concentrated within the kingdom of the beast, where another vial of wrath is poured:)
Revelation 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
(Within the kingdom of the beast, there will be darkness, where they gnaw their tongues for pain. Then it says that they blaspheme God because of their pains and sores, tying the fifth vial upon the kingdom of the beast, with the first vial upon those with the mark of the beast.)
(So, is it possible that there may be a number of people in the world, particularly outside of the kingdom of the beast, who may choose not to receive the mark? However, will there not also be a number of other people, throughout the world, who choose to receive the mark?)
(So, for those who have the mark, and live, possibly far away from the seat of the beast, and will not personally be in the armies attacking Jerusalem, what about them?Particularly, if some of them survive the tribulation, the plagues, including the great earthquake and great hailstones. When Jesus returns, and consumes the armies attacking Jerusalem, these in their remote locations, possibly in caves and dens, may still be alive at that time. After the battle, and after when the remnant of Israel receives their Messiah, Jesus, what about those survivors with the mark? Will Jesus send out people, or angels, to go get them? Then what will happen to them? Will they be executed on the spot, or imprisoned, or brought to Israel, when Jesus gathers the sheep and goat nations? If they are gathered to Israel, then what? Will the ground open under them and swallow them up alive, like Dathan and Abiram?Or will a fire come out and consume them like Korah? Will they go to hell for the thousand years of the kingdom, and then finally go to the lake of fire, as was warned by the third angel?Or will they immediately go to the lake of fire, like the beast and the false prophet?)
