Just heard a preacher mention the first Adam and the last Adam.

How that people go to hell by the first Adam, but can only go to heaven by the second Adam, Jesus.

We come into this world already condemned, because Adam, and yet surpass him with our own sins.

But the curse from Adam, as well as our own sin, can only be taken away by the blood of Jesus.

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

John 3:18b  but he that believeth not is condemned already,

  36c  but the wrath of God abideth on him.

I Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

  45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
