This is in reply to your 12/22 post Reply to: Gino (1 Dec 2024) in which you stated the following: "
"One reincarnation reference the Catholics missed for removal is in the book of Matthew, Chapter 11:13-15, Jesus told His disciples that John the Baptist was Elijah. He knew they would have trouble believing it so He added, "For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. If you will receive it, this (John the Baptist) is Elias which was for (prophesied) to come. He that has ears to hear, let him hear:"
The article at Was John the Baptist really Elijah reincarnated? | GotQuestions.orgmakes an excellent point that Elijah never died as he was taken to heaven in a whirlwind in a chariot of fire. Since Elijah never died, he could not have been reincarnated. Also in the account of Jesus' transfiguration on the mountain, Moses & Elias (Elijah) appeared & were talking to Jesus so Elijah is not dead. John the Baptist denies he is Elijah in John 1:19-23. The article makes 2 other points as to why Elijah was not reincarnated as Elijah. Please read the article to see what the other points are. Anyway true believers who are Christians don't believe in reincarnation like you apparently do.
