Convergence of Christmas/New Year and Hanukkah in 2024

If all the signs around us were not enough to signal the imminent Return of Jesus Christ, we now come to a very rare convergence!!  One ‘Chrismukkah’ expert reveals that this happens only once in around 30 years!!  See You Tube link below that includes similarities between Christmas and Hanukkah.  The second link provides more information on Hannukah.  The daily lighting of (eight) candles by the central servant candle is a beautiful feature.

The significance seems clear, but what does this convergence point to?  In part, this highlights the overlap of God’s Eternal Purposes for both Israel and the Gentile nations.  This may point to the Rapture of the Bride (initially the remnant church, rather than the broader body of Christ).  There may also be a link to the coming of the end-time Elijah – while a prophet, like all true prophets he will come as a servant carrying the light of Christ (the Light of the World) to people.

Earthquake in Vanuatu and an Australian Connection

Australia became a nation on 1 January 1901, so will mark 124 years as a nation on 1 January 2025 (the end point for both Hannukah and Christmas/New Year).  The name Australia has its origins in a Captain Pedro Fernandez de Quiros declaration on Vanuatu on the Day of Pentecost – way back in 1606!!  (Link below).

This week’s earthquake on Vanuatu has been quite devastating with loss of life and extensive damage.  Yet it may be a signal that this prophetic declaration (text below) may be fulfilled in the very near future.  Further down I have provided a link to a prophecy about the fulfilment of this declaration (reclaiming the south lands of the Holy Spirit).
