"Tevet 10 To Become A Day of Joy"

The fast of Month 10, Day 10 on Tevet 10 will become one of four days of fasting and sorrow to become days of joy according to the prophet Zechariah, Chapter 8. In Jewish History, enemies of Israel began to surround Jerusalem on this fateful date. This day is the FIRST DAY of the 3 days annually related to remembrance of Temple destruction: Tevet 10, Tammuz 17, then Av 9. In observation annually, the order of the 4 days is the following: Tammuz 17, Av 9, Yom Kippur, then Tevet 10. Tevet 10 is the most obscure of the 4. Few know about it or value it. On the Torah Calendar, Tevet 10 will be the day fast, from sunrise to sunset, on 12-24-2023. Thus, we see Tevet 10 as a First Day (it will also be on Day 1 of the Spiritual Week). It will be a Third Day, from the Winter Equinox on 12-21 at 10:27 EST in the USA. And it will be a Last Day. There are Scriptural promises to lift up on the Third Day and on the Last Day.

Please also note the TRIPLE MENTION by the Messiah about fasting, in each of the Synoptic Gospels. Triple mention is an underscoring of something important and to be remembered. Look to the details of the ancient Galilean Wedding Model. When the groom is away on the long trip to the far country, his followers will fast. But when he returns? The fast ENDS. The groom, bride, families, and friends travel quickly to the groom's father's house to the chuppah (the wedding canopy). To continue with fasting? NO! Mourning? NO! THE JOY BEGINS!!! Will Tevet 10 on 12-24-2023 become a day transformed into abundant and supreme Joy? We will know soon...

With Love and Shalom,
Jean

The date of 12-21-2023 will be the Winter Solstice, not Winter Equinox, for those north of the equator. Sorry for any confusion.
