Did Jesus Become Messiah/Christ (The Anointed One) at His Death, Triumphal Entry, Water Baptism, Birth, or Conception?

 

And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.  Matthew 1:16

 

Looks like He was born Jesus and at least called Christ at that time.

 

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.  Matthew 1:18

 

Looks like the egg in Mary’s womb was anointed (Christ means anointed) at conception by the Holy Ghost before Christ was born!

 

And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.  Matthew 2:4

 

Looks like Jesus Christ was considered Christ before He was born!

 

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.  Luke 2:11

 

Looks like the Scriptures are consistent that it must have been at conception.
