John and Doves,
After I revisit Daniel's 70 weeks prophecy, I agree with Professor Harold Hoehner’s calculation of the 70 weeks, except he is few days short. The mistake Sir Robert Anderson made is he has 32 AD as the crucifixion and the end of 69 weeks. Jesus was crucified on Friday. In 32 AD, Nisan 14 appears on Monday. Jesus wasn’t crucified on Monday. It rules out 32 AD as the year crucifixion occurred. For simplicity, I use torahcalendar.com as the source to calculate Daniel's 69 weeks.
Second mistake Robert Anderson made is he uses Nisan 2 445 BC as the beginning of 69 weeks. Nehemiah heard the affliction report of his people
in Kislev in the 20th year of Artaxerxes which corresponds to November 445 BC. Then few months after, in the month of Nisan, Artaxerxes granted Nehemiah the decree to rebuild Jerusalem. It places Nisan in year 444 BC, not 445 BC. But here's a tricky part.
Hebrew calendar added extra Adar in 444 BC. According to
torahcalendar.com, Adar 1 ends on March 3 444 BC. New moon appears on March 4 444 BC. Nehemiah sighted this new moon, and could have identified March 4 444 BC as Nisan 1.
He has no knowledge of adding another Adar. So Nisan 1 444 BC begins on March 4.
Palm Sunday in 33 AD falls on March 29 Nisan 9. Messiah was made known to the Israelis on this day. This is the end of 69 weeks / 173880 days.
Subtract 173880 days from March 29 Nisan 9 33 AD by using torahcalendar.com, we come to March 8 Nisan 5 444 BC as the beginning of 70 weeks.
Nisan 5 March 8 444 BC ------ 173880 days ------- Palm Sunday Nisan 9 March 29 33 AD, End of 69 weeks
A note here. Jesus was crucified on Friday Nisan 14 ( sunset Thursday to sunset Friday ). 26 AD, 33 AD both have Nisan 14 on Friday. 26 AD
can't be the year crucifixion took place. 33 AD is the correct year for crucifixion to occur on Nisan 14 Friday. My final conclusion. 33 AD is the year where crucifixion and resurrection occurred. Palm Sunday 33 AD is also the end of the 69 weeks.
Luke 3:1 Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judaea, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituraea and of the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene, 2 Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. 3 And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins;
Tiberius Caesar was the second emperor of Roman empire. He began his reign on Sept 17 14 AD.
Sept 17 14 AD ----- Sept 16 15 AD was his 1st year.
Sept 17 15 AD ------- Sept 16 16 AD was his 2nd year
Sept 17 16 AD ------- Sept 16 17 AD was his 3rd year
Sept 17 28 AD -------- Sept 16 29 AD was his 15th year.
In the 15th year of Tiberius Caesar, John the Baptist began his ministry. John began his ministry in the spring of 29 AD. Jesus was baptized
in the fall of 29 AD. 29 AD was the first year of Jesus' ministry, which ended in Passover Nisan 14 33 AD.
Jesus was 30 years old when he began his ministry. It places his birth on Tabernacle Oct 16 in 2 BC. Mary heed the warning from angel, that
Herod gonna killed baby Jesus. They fled to Egypt after Jesus was born.
Josephus said Herod died between a lunar eclipse and Passover. There was a total lunar eclipse in Jerusalem on Jan 10 1 BC. Herod died between
Jan 10 1 BC and Passover April 8 1 BC. After hearing Herod died, Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus returned to Jerusalem.
This is my final conclusion of Jesus' day of birth ( Tabernacle Tishri 15, 2 BC ), the year his ministry begins ( Tabernacle 29 AD ), and
the year crucifixion and resurrection occurs ( 33 AD ).
Now that I conclude crucifixion occurred in 33 AD, I am leaning toward Solomon died in 928 BC, because of the following calculation.
Solomon died in 928 BC. He reigns for 40 years. 968 BC was the first year of his reign. In his fourth year, which is 964 BC, he began to build
the temple. 964 BC was also the 480th year since they left Egypt. Adding 480th year to 964 BC, including the first and last year, Exodus took place in 1443 BC. 1443 BC is also year 2538 since Adam ( from my post "Where are we now since Adam" ).
Abraham was born in year 1948. God called Abraham when he was 75 years old. Abraham responded by departing Haran. Adding 75 to 1948, it was
in year 2023 Old Testament era began. Convert 2023 into BC, we have this calculation.
2538 minus 2023 = 515 years.
Since 2538 is 1443 BC, adding 515 years to 1443 BC, we have 1958 BC as the year old testament began. Old testament ended in 33 AD. 33 AD is
also the year New Testament began.
The total time spans in old testament = 1958 BC + 32 ( 33 AD - 1 ) = 1990 years
If God places an equal period of 1990 years to New Testament era, we have 2023 AD ( 1990 + 33 AD ) as the last year for New Testament era
/ Age of Grace. Rapture shall occur in 2023 and triggers the 7 years tribulation, with Jesus returning to Jerusalem in 2030.
This two equally period of 1990 years, with 33 AD as the dividing year, can only be achieved if Solomon died in 928 BC.
If Solomon did die in 928 BC, then my 430 years iniquity of Israel and Judah shall end in Pentecost June 9 2030 ( I have shown this calculation
from my other post). Subtract 2520 days from Pentecost June 9 2030, rapture shall occur on July 17 Tamuz 28 2023.
When Solomon died in 928 BC, instead of 929 BC, it also changes my 70 jubilees to 2030 AD instead of 2029 AD. I shall elaborate on this new calculation later. It is because it changes the year of Exodus to 1443 BC, instead of 1444 BC. It pushes 70th jubilee one year later to 2030 AD.
