"A Weird and Wonderful Christmas!"

Hi John and Doves,

I had a weep or two in the lead up to this Christmas. We got hit with one blow after another. My son, who is working in Germany, could not come over to the UK. The other son - his area went into lock-down. I must not complain. People, all over the world, suffered the same.

In an unexpectedly wonderful way - Christmas turned out to be great! Nobody had the stress of BIG entertaining. We connected online - unwrapped our prezzies for each other - and played silly quiz games. All online. When I had enough - I could remove myself. My home neat and tidy and my bed calling out to me. We have had no major housework to keep on top of and we have so enjoyed connecting with our loved ones online. I have had total freedom to soak into Bible study. This is normally not possible when one has a houseful of guests. It's normally organised chaos.

This Christmas has given the world time for reflection. The dazzle of vulgar consumerism has been greatly diminished. People are learning the value of EACH OTHER. The value of morals and true love. We are being shown how strange it is not to be with each other. How we are to LOVE each other and treasure each other. EVERYTHING that our LORD Jesus taught. The biggest commandment of all is LOVE.

As much as I am grateful for the quiet and stress free Christmas - I miss the hugs. I miss the feeling of having all my darlings under one roof - albeit briefly. I am grateful for the time given for us all to reflect on what is truly important. Our loving Father God has gifted the world's people this precious time to reflect.

We only have a brief period of time to choose. Make our choices. Before the onset of evil. Time is now of the essence. I can feel it in my deepest soul. We do NOT have that much time left.

Our LORD has connected us with special people during this time. People we wouldn't ordinarily get to meet or be in touch with. Take note of these people, Doves. The LORD has sent them to you.

Maranatha, Precious LORD Jesus. We need you - desperately. Please come.
