THIS SCRIPTURE SAYS IT ALL.....
"..........UNTO Messiah
the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore
and two weeks...."
Therefore there shall be
sixty-nine weeks complete UNTIL the
appearance of Jesus as the baptized Messiah to BEGIN
His ministry. What week follows AFTER the
69th week ? The 70th week of course. Jesus
began His ministry as the baptized Messiah at the
beginning of the 70th Week of Daniel, but was then
cut-off in the midst of the 70th week of
Daniel.
Daniel then asked the angel of
the Lord over the water how long will it be to
the end of the 70th week ? He got his answer
as follows:
"...It shall be for a time ,
times, and half a time."
This we know to be 3 1/2
years. Therefore the angel of the Lord told Daniel
that there are 3 1/2 years left of the 70th Week
of Daniel yet to be fulfilled. This stands to
reason because Jesus fulfilled the first half of
the 70th week of Daniel before He was cut-off and
crucified at the mid-point of the 70th Week
leaving the last 3 1/2 year half of the 70th Week
of Daniel yet to be fulfilled in the future.
