"THE DAY OF THE LORD and THE DAY OF CHRIST DEFINED"

THE 'DAY OF THE LORD' and THE 'DAY OF CHRIST' DEFINED........

The phrase, 'Day of the Lord', is used a total of 23 times in all the Scriptures of BOTH the Old and the New Testaments. In EVERY CASE it is describing the coming of God's judgment of tribulation upon the earth.

The phrase, 'Day of Christ', is used ONLY a total of 3 times in ONLY the New Testament of ONLY the Apostle Paul's Gospel. In EVERY CASE Paul is speaking of the coming Day when Jesus appears to rapture His Church :

Philippians 1:10

" That you may be sincere and without blemish till the Day of Christ."

Philippians 2:16

"Holding forth the Word of Life; that I may rejoice in the Day of Christ , that I have not run in vain."

2 Thessalonians 2:2

"That you be not soon shaken in  mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the Day of Christ is at hand."

I am looking forward to the coming Day of Christ !
