"We are not far away!"

Hi John & Doves:

This is a post I should have got out before the Feast of Hanukkah so some wouldn’t be disappointed that the Rapture did not occur exactly on that date.

We know what has been will be done again and all things written are for examples for us in these closing days. With that in mind recall at the Feast of Hanukkah (John 10) the Jews wanted to stone Jesus because be declared Himself to be the Son of God. Jesus then removed Himself from them and resorted to the Jorden where John Baptised.

Jesus (John 11) declares:
 I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
  And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Jesus promptly proved His words and raised Lazarus from the dead. The time between
Hanukkah and the raising of Lazarus as far as I know is indeterminate although it was fairly near according to the disciples ;

Joh 11:8  His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest
thou thither again?

We may conclude the Resurrection of Lazarus was some weeks after Hanukkah. It is important to note that the Resurrection is not the Transfiguration. The dead in Christ will need to be Resurrected and Transfigured, because we are alive we need to be Transfigured. The dead are resurrected and then together with them are we Transfigured and caught up together in the clouds.

Ok so there may be a time between the Resurrection of the dead and the Rapture, as in Matt 27
Mat 27:52  And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
Mat 27:53  And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

What a fantastic witness the once dead will be! There was a great EQ then, there will be again (Rev 6:12). For sure we will know then that the Wedding will be days away and we will be greatly empowered and emboldened whilst the Spirit of God is Transfiguring us and we are witnessing to a terrified world with unprecedented power and glory. My guess at the timeframe between the Resurrection and Rapture will 10 days absolute maximum and some are saying we will be home for Christmas!

Tom Allen gives a date for the dead coming out of the graves;
