I knew then what it was all about, I had been writing about the 3 Babylons all day. I was typing on Ed's old college portable typewriter. The keys were hard to push. The rickety card table in the corner of the kitchen didn’t help, either. I was tired. I grabbed my closed Bible by the heel, threw myself down across the bed, said aloud to myself, "What am I doing all this work for?" and was astonished to have not only my open Bible right under my face, but a rectangle of light on Jer 50:2. I hadn't turned on the light. It was twilight, and we had heavy self-lined draperies on the windows. God had to do that. There was no other way it could have happened. I had my Bible firmly in my hand, holding it closed. Under normal circumstances, it would not have even opened.

Jer 50:2 said, "Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces."

The Lord did it to encourage me to keep on studying and writing about Babylon III. You see, I was writing a book for myself. I study by writing. I can understand more things this way. Today, I was researching NOVAs, and I wrote it all down.

That incident encouraged me to study and write things for other people to read, and Babylon is near the Euphrates in Iraq, not in the USA. Vatican City will be moved there.

Rev 17:16-18 says,  "And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. 17  For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. 18  And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth."

Babylon in Rev. 18 is after Vatican City has moved to the desert.

Rev 17:3 says, "So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness (eremos, desert): and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns".

When Ed was on board ship coming home from Japan after WW II, he prayed for a Christian wife. He got me. I think now that the Lord meant for us to marry before we were even born. We fell in love at once. He asked me to marry him on the 4th day we got together. Our first date was July 3, 1946. He asked me, and I told him "Yes," on July 6. We got acquainted fast because we talked a lot those 4 days.

The time? sometime between 1960, when I was studying in earnest, and 1968. Ed got me a big heavy electric typewriter, model 40, like those used in school typing classes, and a big heavy desk when I was 40 in Dec. 1968. We made a room in the attached garage for my studies. I have been studying and writing ever since 1960 for sure, maybe a bit before that.

I don't have time now to go to Biblewheel. It is 4:58 AM already.

Agape,

MJ Agee - many readers are no doubt familiar with your testimony regarding the verse Jeremiah 50:2 - i.e. how many years ago, while in a darkened room, the Lord highlighted this verse supernaturally on an open Bible. I was curious as to what insights or opinions you have now about the reason(s) the Lord may have chosen that particular verse. in addition, for your info, go here: http://www.biblewheel.com/GR/GR_Database.php?Gem_Num=4258 this is a link on the Bible Wheel site that shows the verses in the Bible that have the same hebrew gematria total as Jeremiah 50:2, which is: 4258 There are three verses with that total. Perhaps you also have comments about those other two verses in Ezekiel. all three verses seem to share the same tone. thanks!
