When the Lord visited me in December 1997, He told me many things that I simply couldn't believe I was hearing. Things about His Creation, some of which I mention in the account on John Tng's home page.

God really began to talk to me out of the book of Job, chapters 36-39, and I marked up my Bible with a red ball point pen. I still use that Bible and those chapters are scrawled all over. some of the writing I can't even make out now. These chapters match the 'tone' of the Lord in His speaking to me. That the sovereignty of God over His creation was really something I did not understand.

notice specifically Job 38:13
"That it (the dayspring, dawn) might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?"

the total verse gematria for this verse =

    1997

there are only five verses in the entire Bible that have 1997 as a total verse gematria.

I'm convinced this is one place in the Bible that a year actually matches the gematria of a verse, verified by the supernatural act of God, not by a calculator.

special note:

I specifically circled this verse that week in that Bible in a red pen, and I also wrote a note to myself out to the side of it, which reads:

"Heaven and Earth shaken once more".

this is my cross-reference to the verse in Hebrews -

Hebrews 12:26
"Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven."

I can't honestly tell you what I was thinking when I circled the verse, but now, 15 years later, I'm convinced that Job & 1997 meet at this verse.
