Yes, the Jews are told that "when Jerusalem is encompased with armies
to flee to the mountains"...Luke 21:20,21
Thing is in 70AD the death of Nero occurred after the Roman armies
arrived to begin the siege... however for several months the army
commander did nothing awaiting instructions from Rome. During this
time he allowed people to leave the city.. All the believers
remembered the prophecy and left the city...
  this is going to happen again in the tribulation period!!!
   One interesting thing is that all the Jews are told to run when
Daniel's abomination happens in late trib, but apparently not all of
them do, since Zechariah 14 makes it clear that Jews are defending
Jerusalem when Jesus returns at the 2nd coming!!!
Zecharialh 12&13 is Israel today and what is shortly coming, while
ch14  shows us  the 2nd coming.. Awesome & wonderful, all the Jews see
Jesus coming and fall on their faces and worship Him!!!
