"Revelation 18:11-12"

Revelation 18:11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:

(The merchants of the earth: Apparently Mystery, Babylon will be the largest consumer nation, ever, the greatest importer of goods from all over the earth.
Perhaps giant container ships, and oil super tankers continually entering her ports.
But when she is burned up, there will be no other nation like her, to import all those goods from all over the earth.
The earth’s merchants weep and mourn, since their entire life and future and been tied to selling products to her.
They, and their countries, exported to her, but now their country, nor any other countries,
are nowhere rich enough for their own products, let alone importing from other nations.
Perhaps all the economies of the globe, and most of the world's currencies, will have been tied to her.
In these days, it would be like the G7, the G20, and the World Bank, all intimately related with her.
To keep the trade going, and the continued import of goods from all over, perhaps her trade deficit will be way out of balance.
So, the banks of the world will let her vastly increase her deficit spending, since they all don’t know what to do without her.

Revelation 18:12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.
14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.

possibly related, America had been the largest slave importer,
now it does so by taking advantage of illegal aliens
souls of men
also possibly related, this certainly had been the crown jewel of the vatican,
but now American churches have surpassed the vatican’s religious huckstering
(Mystery, Babylon is clearly a covetous, consumer driver people.
If in these days, then commercials and advertisements on tv, radio, internet, newspapers, magazines, billboards, etc.
from companies and sellers, are designed, like by Madison Avenue, to produce sufficient covetousness,
so that they will purchase their wares.
Notice, commercials are not necessary to sell broccoli, but they are necessary in order to sell salty chips and flavored cereal.
A nation addicted to, and enslaved by this extremely covetous, consumer madness.
The nation will suddenly find itself unable to acquire the things that they covet after.
All these things will disappear from the shelves, from the warehouses, and from the internet.
Perhaps, before the burning comes, she will experience intense withdrawals from all her addictions.
What would an entire nation, having cold-turkey withdrawals, like junkies, be like?
Will people fight and kill for the last few remaining scraps of these things?
Will they go mad, like the men trying to get through Lot’s door, even after they were blinded?
All things dainty and goodly are departed – these are the extravagant things that only the most wealthy ever had.
But this whole nation was so rich, that everyone there lived better than kings of old.
The entire country lived like the rich man in Luke 16, dressed in fine clothing, and fared sumptuously every day.
The nation lived so expensively, splendidly, and with great magnificence.
They will never see comfort again, never be at ease again, never to taste anything again, and never to quench their thirst again.
They will never feel a cool breeze again, never experience good again, and all their desires to never be fulfilled again, forever.
