"The total lunar eclipse on April 14 32 AD"

Hi John and Doves,

Jesus was crucified on April 14 32 AD. According to NASA, there was a total lunar eclipse appear in  that day. It was visible in America, and Asian countries. It was not visible in Israel, Middle East and Europe.  What is the significance of the lunar eclipse in that day?

The day Jesus died, the world was darkened. The lunar eclipse on the day Jesus died was not visible in Israel. It only affected other parts of the world. I have attached the lunar eclipse on April 14 32 AD from NASA.

But in Israel and the surrounding nations, there was three hours of darkness when Jesus was crucified on the cross. Together with the lunar eclipse at other parts of the world, we can say this darkness covered the entire world. Question is, is there another darkness covers the entire world prophesied by the old testament prophets, including Jesus himself? And when will this darkness occur in future?

From Jesus, he says the day he returns to Jerusalem, the sun is darkened and the moon turns red. It means there is darkness covers Israel and other parts of the world. From Zechariah, he prophesies on the day Jesus returns to earth, there won't be light until the evening. It means darkness covers the entire world including Jerusalem.

Zechariah 14:6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: 7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.

"that at evening time it shall be light:

Jesus is the light of the world. "At evening time it shall be light" speaks of Jesus returning to Jerusalem at the evening.

This darkness all over the world including Jerusalem is the "repetition" of the darkness over Jerusalem and all other nations from lunar eclipse on the day Jesus died. On the day Jesus died, there was darkness over Israel and other nations. On the day Jesus returns to earth, there is darkness all over the world and Israel.  Simply put, Jesus is returning to earth and Jerusalem on the evening of Nisan 14, the Passover where he was crucified. Since the day begins on sunset, the evening of Nisan 14 is actually Nisan 15, the day I precited Jesus returning to Jerusalem.

Now we should know the significance of the lunar eclipse on April 14 32 AD. There was darkness over Israel and her neighboring countries caused by the miracle from God. Other parts of the world is covered in darkness by the lunar eclipse. The purpose of the lunar eclipse is to bring and extend the darkness to other parts of the world, not just in Israel and Middle East, so that historians can remember this day of darkness in their history.

The three hours of darkness only covered Israel and some parts of middle East and European countries. These area were not in the path of lunar eclipse. The lunar eclipse is to bring darkness to the rest of the world so that we all acknowledge there was darkness cover the entire earth on the day Jesus died.

Jesus and old testament prophets also foretold this darkness shall come back on the day Jesus returns to earth. Simply put, this darkness shall occur on the same day the darkness occurred in history, that is, Passover.

And at evening there is light. That light is Jesus, who shines upon the whole world.  Jesus' return shall break the darkness of the entire world.
