Quake Watchers,

 

 

Seismic activity has slowed only slightly from the highs of the past two weeks, but still we saw M7.0 and M6.9 quakes strike the South Sandwich Islands region - again.

 

The aftermath in Haiti is exactly as I predicted with gangs and corrupt politicians exploiting the disaster and its victims.

 

Both Hawaii and the Strait of Gibraltar are seeing increasing numbers of quakes and climbing magnitudes. This is an on-going phenomenon that is building toward a major seismic release. In Hawaii, we expect another volcanic eruption in the not-too-distant future, and in Gibraltar we could see a major fault break with a very large quake. Time will tell.
