will remember that we had a major
WARNING issued for the Caribbean and today was
the last day for that earthquake forecast before the
WARNING expired.
You
will also remember that I said in a recent update that with
the incoming tropical storms into the
Caribbean, we should be watching closely for a large
quake to strike
due to the correlation between such tropical storms and
large quakes to occur - a pattern we have documented many
times over the years. Why meteorologists and seismologists
remain clueless about such events is a complete mystery. My
subscribers always know to be watching for exactly such
"coincidences." When so-called "coincidences" happen again
and again, at some point they cease to be coincidences and
qualify as predictable patterns. Tropical storm Fred has
just passed through the region and tropical storm Grace is
right on its heels, when the M7.2 quake struck this
morning.
Hundreds
of people have already been confirmed dead and USGS is
estimating the death toll may again reach into the thousands.
