Dear DP,  I have no problem with Daniel 9:24 being about the Prince of princes (Jesus).  It's verse 26b and 27 that I can't swallow as being Y'shua ("on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate").  That's NOT my Savior.

It has been astronomically and historically proven that Jesus was cut off on Passover 32AD. That date fulfilled the March 14, 445 BC decree of Artaxerxes Longiminus in Daniel 9:25 to the very day.  Furthermore, since He was "cut off" at the end of 69 weeks/483 LUNAR years,  His crucifixion cannot possibly occur within the 70th week (see The Prince to Come by Sir Robert Anderson for further detail).

It appears that you are willing to put one-half of the 70th week in the future, but not the full seven years?

Just one more question:  Has Israel been replaced by the Church?
