THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION IS NOT WHO YOU THINK IT IS..........
The Scriptures speak of the "abomination of desolation" which many mistakenly believe is the anti-Christ, but IT IS NOT the anti-Christ. To determine the true identity of the "abomination of desolation" we need to carefully study the Scriptures to see how the Scriptures describe the "abomination of desolation". The first thing to notice is that when the Scriptures speak of the "abomination of desolation" the Scriptures NEVER use the pronoun "he" when speaking of the "abomination of desolation", but rather Scripture does describe the "abomination of desolation' as an "it ". The Scriptures NEVER refer to a person as an "it" :
Mark 13:14
"But WHEN YOU SHALL SEE the abomination of desolation , spoken of by Daniel the Prophet, standing where IT ought not, them that be in Judea flee to the mountains."
This Scripture is warning those in Judea , Israel to escape the soon to come "desolation" brought on by the "abomination" standing where "IT" should not be. WHAT IS "IT" ?
The following Scripture tells us WHAT "IT" IS and WHERE " IT" IS that "IT" OUGHT NOT " be :
Luke 21:20
"And WHEN YOU SHALL SEE Jerusalem encompassed with armies ( the Gog -Magog Armies ) then know that the DESOLATION thereof is neigh. Then let them which are in Judea flee to the mountains."
SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT :
"When we shall see" the "abomination of desolation" "spoken of in Daniel 12:11" , "IT" will be the Gog-Magog "armies" "standing in the holy place" encompassing Jerusalem, which is God's Holy City , poised to bring "desolation" down upon Jerusalem. The abomination of desolation is the Gog-Magog Army NOT the anti-Christ.
According to Your Holy Word, come Lord Jesus !
