I don't know if I am euphoric that it's Friday and the weekend stretches ahead - or if I am slightly hysterical. Either way - it's way better than being grumpy and depressed. Lol.


I read the article in the link below and had an epiphany. You will have to read the article to see what I mean. We are fed the constant line of "China has been stealing our secrets and technology. China (or Russia) have been using microwave technology to fry American diplomats brains in Cuba....and many other places in the world. Russia BAD. China BAD. You all get the picture.


I watched a BBC documentary, back in 2019, that claimed that China keeps stealing our (UK) cutting-edge technology via cyber hacking and Chinese spies. The invention of graphene was supposed to be British - who were hoping to make a fortune out of it. Rubbing their hands with 'how big is my yacht going to be' glee. The Brits even invited a huge Chinese delegation to the UK. We rolled out the red carpet with all the horses and all the Queens men. State banquets dominated the headlines and our Queen stood next to one of the greatest butchers and human rights abusers of our time - and honoured him. And then *OOPS* - the Chinese announced that they had invented stuff with graphene. The Chinese had, apparently, stolen British technology and there was diddly squat we could do about it. Oh well. Boo hoo. Those cunning Chinese bamboozled us naïve Brits.


I call RUBBISH !! These are the fables that are fed to us. I am willing to bet that all these evil leaders are making bets with each other. Playing chess while keeping us all blinded by war and pestilence. I bet the Chinese didn't 'steal' British technology...it was instead given to them because it is waaay cheaper to have things manufactured in China than it is in Britain. Deals were likely made behind closed doors. None of which were designed to enrich the population or improve stuff. Deals were done to line the pockets of the dealers.


In the article - we are now asked to believe that so-called "Chinese Spies" are a total surprise and shock to the American special agencies???


I'll admit - it took me awhile to stop laughing. Deep, bitter chuckles. But, also, happiness that we are beginning to see through a glass less darkly.
