A very under-reported war has been happening in Ethiopia for months now. This latest news seems to be a sign. Ethiopia has a strong Christian presence - particularly in the region in and around where the Ark of the Covenant is rumoured to be housed. The Ethiopian Christians are suffering terrible persecution.


The JPost article reports that the town of Lalibela has been captured. When you read the details of this town, you will definitely sit up and take notice. In the 2nd link is an article from a Christian man who toured the ancient Christian sites in Ethiopia. When you get to Day 5 on his itinerary, please note that Lalibela is known as the African Jerusalem. It is also a United Nation's World Heritage site !!
