I have linked Revelation 11 below. In Revelation 11.1 - 2, we are told that the outer court is not to be measured as this has been given over to the gentiles who will trample the Holy City for 42 months. The gentiles don't trample the city for 7 years. Scripture specifically tells us that Jerusalem will be trampled for 42 months. The Temple itself will not be trampled but the outer courtyard will be. Almighty God has given this outer courtyard over to the gentile tramplers for 42 months.
