Converging Signs of the End
Times
Over
the past few years many have argued that the most convincing
proof that we are
in the Last Days was the emergence of Israel as a nation on
May 14, 1948. This
was, after all, a fulfillment of
Biblical prophecy. God
kept His promise
just as He said that he would and He did it in a single day,
just as promised (Isaiah
66:7-8). Today
there is an even
more impressive and spectacular indicator that we are in the
Last Days of the
End Times. That
indicator is the
convergence of the many signs of the End Times.
I
find it increasingly difficult to ignore the lengthening
shadows of prophetic
End Time events and I am deeply disturbed by my rising
perception of evil in
this world. There
is a sentient (self-aware)
supernational force that is very much alive in our world and
it is the
embodiment of everything that is evil. I
sense this “force” is ancient and that it is incredibly
intelligent. The
hatred it harbors is beyond my earthly
abilities of comprehension.
It is
malignant and it is metastasizing throughout the world.
Here
are the signs that I see as converging signs of the End Times. I present them in no
particular order:
· A
large portion of the Bible deals with End Time Prophecy in one
form or another.
In one example,
the angel Gabriel
revealed a great deal of End Time information to the Prophet
Daniel. Daniel
told the angel he did not understand
what he was being told. The
angel told
Daniel not to worry because people would understand in the
Last Days. Now we
are not only starting to understand that
message, but it is coming into increasingly sharper focus as
each day passes. (Daniel
12:8-9).
· Attacks
upon the world’s food supply are not uncommon, but over the
past few years they
have been rapidly accelerating.
Floods,
droughts, attacks by all manner of insects, mass deaths of
pollinators such as
bees, plant-based diseases, biblical class plagues of locust
and mice, wars,
and a myriad of other factors have come together in the
proverbial “perfect storm”
to place us in a position of being one planting season away
from disaster in many
parts of the world. We
are at the
doorstep of the worldwide famine of the prophesied Tribulation
period.
· The
torture and murder of Christians in our modern world has
eclipsed the level it
achieved in ancient Rome shortly after the crucifixion and yet
our modern media
is far more concerned about covering Brittney Spear’s latest
remarks in her
court battle with her father over who gets control over her
assets. In
Nigeria alone this year over 4,650
Christians have been mercilessly slaughtered (as of mid-July
2021). Jesus told
us there would be a huge increase
in Christian persecution prior to His return (Matthew 24:9).
· The
Bible tells us that one aspect of the anti-Christ’s empire
will be a one-world
currency. All of
the world’s economies
are a house of cards that are ready to collapse at any moment. It seems like a
supernatural miracle that they
have survived collapse so far.
This, to
me, is a sign that we are at the very edge of the End Times. Additionally (and
coincidentally???) computer
based crypto-currencies are supernaturally flourishing at
every turn, ready to
become the one-world currency of the future under the control
of the
anti-Christ.
· I
have a feeling deep in my soul that there is a cabal of very
rich, very
powerful, and very, very evil men (and perhaps women) who are
acting in
conjunction with a supernaturally evil being (or beings) that
are very old and
very intelligent. Their
goal is to
conquer mankind. Among
many other
things, they are obsessed with disarming the average citizens
of this
world. The Second
Amendment right of the
American people to keep and bear arms is under attack as it
has never been
before. Why?? The only reason I
can think of is that these
evil forces are planning an attack. An
enslavement of the human race.
· The
inhabitants of the entire world can sense that something
really big is about to
happen. Even the
ones who deny the existence
of God are increasingly uneasy.
America
has always been a symbol of safety as well as freedom. Is it any wonder
that our borders are being
overrun by hundreds of thousands of people who are too
frightened to live in
their own country?
· There
is a shelf-life for the Last Days. Jesus
told us that all of the End Time events would transpire within
one generation
(Matthew 24:34). Psalm
90-10 tells us
that a generation can be as long as 80 years.
The End Times began when Israel became a nation again
in fulfillment of
prophecy on May 14, 1948.
If we add 80
years to that we get 2028.
We also know
that the Rapture of the Church occurs prior to a 7-year period
of
tribulation. This
is the time period
known as Jacob’s Trouble.
If we subtract
7 years from 2028, we arrive at the year 2021.
We are currently well into the bottom half of 2021. If my interpretation
of the Bible is correct,
something huge (like the Rapture) is going to happen very,
very soon.
· Over
the past few years, I have a read an ever-increasing number of
articles about
how various lakes, rivers, and streams in diverse places have
turned blood
red. Is there
anybody out there who can
tell me that this is not an apocalyptic sign of the End Times.
· Over
the past few years, I have read an ever-increasing number of
articles about
strange sounds happening in diverse places all over the
planet. These
strange sounds seem to have no point of
origin. They come
from all directions. Nobody
can give a logical explanation for
them. To my
discernment, these sounds
remind me of a heavy rusted iron gate with badly corroded
hinges that is slowly
closing. Is there
anybody out there who
can tell me that this is not an apocalyptic sign as well of
the Last Days. Could
this be an audio warning from God that
the Age of Grace is coming to a close?
· Over
the past few years, I have read an increasing number of
articles about how
animals are dying-off all over the world.
Birds falling out of the sky, whales and dolphins
committing suicide by
beaching themselves, fewer and fewer fish in the oceans of the
world, and so
many other animals going extinct. We are
apparently in what science tells us is a mass extinction
event. According
to Wikipedia, these have happened
somewhere between 5 and 20 times over the past 440 million
years. We are still
in the early stages of this one.
Nevertheless, the news is full of animal deaths even
while the vast
majority of them go unreported.
The
Bible tells us that God will kill off much of the animal
kingdom in the Last Days
as just one more warning to mankind (Hosea 4:1-3). Is there
anybody out there who can tell
me that this also is not an apocalyptic sign as well?
· I
would speculate that our current Pope is the Biblical False
Prophet based on
many assumptions that are too numerous to list here. Chief among these
assumptions has been
Francis propensity to lead people away from Jesus by
proclaiming that there are
more than one paths to salvation. This
is a violation of the most basic principle of Christianity. If the False Prophet
is currently in office,
and has been for some time, then we must be at the very
doorstep of the Rapture
and the Second Coming of Christ.
· Revelation
17:10-11 talks about 7 End Time Kings.
We are not told specifically who they are, but this
scripture does say
that the 6th King is also the 8th King. It also tells us
that the 6th/8th
King is also the Beast – the anti-Christ.
Furthermore, this scripture tells us that the 7th
King only
serves a short time. Lastly,
we know
that Revelation 17 was talking about Mystery Babylon
immediately prior to
this. Many who
study eschatology believe
that Mystery Babylon is America and the 7 Kings mentioned are
the 7 US presidents
who attempted to divide the Land of Israel.
King number 6 was the team of Obama and Biden. The 7th
king who served but a
short time was Donald Trump.
The 8th
King is Sleepy Joe Biden.
Perhaps the
world is about to realize that Biden is not as dim-witted as
he now
appears. If the
anti-Christ and the
False Prophet are now both in office, we truly are standing at
the very knife
edge of the End of the Age.
· At
this moment in time the person usually referred to as the most
powerful man in
the world, the leader of the free world, the man who has his
finger on the
button that can launch hundreds (if not thousands) of nuclear
weapons, the commander
in chief of (supposedly) the world’s most powerful military,
is a man who
frequently babbles incoherently in public and yet the
government goes on. This
person appears to be but a mere
puppet. I cannot
help but wonder what
shadowy figures are pulling his strings.
And if so, to what end? Are we a speeding vehicle with
nobody at the
wheel? Are we on
a collision course with
annihilation?
·
The
stench of evil permeates our halls of government. Our last
presidential election was stolen in
a (nearly) bloodless coup by an imposter who was inaugurated
in our nation’s
capital that was surrounded with many layers of razor wire and
25,000-armed
National Guard soldiers to insure his coronation. And it is not just our
president. It
would seem that the vast majority of our
elected officials are corrupt.
This
corruption continues to intensify with each passing hour. So many of our
politicians, and especially
the democrats, have sold their soul to over throw the
republic. America
was founded on seemingly noble
principles. Then
we pushed God out of
our government and the human rights we proclaimed bore the
diseased fruits of
pornographic rights, abortion rights, and homosexual rights.
·
We are rapidly losing our
freedom of speech. It
has become
tantamount to a felony to criticize a homosexual or any of the
other sexual
deviants included in the LGBTQ+P community.
Likewise, it is rapidly becoming a felony to say
anything which deviates
from the “party line” regarding the COVID crisis. It is tantamount to
a felony to use any one
of a number of racially charged words, or even suggest that
there could
possibly be any differences between races or cultures (good or
bad). People who
say that our last presidential
election was stolen are regarded as criminals, or at best,
mentally
deficient. We
once lived in a culture
that treasured dialog between opposing views.
Now we are increasingly only being allowed to hear one
side of an
argument. Social
media is censored. Even
the former president of the United
States, Donald Trump, is permanently forbidden to post on
these platforms. The
majority of the major news networks no
longer even pretend to be fair or impartial anymore. News has been
replaced with propaganda.
The evil veil of apocalyptic darkness
envelopes us as all of our basic liberties vanish.
·
Our nation has been
deeply divided by a fraudulent election.
Sadly, our Supreme Court has closed its eyes and has
refused to hear all
pleas for justice. Lady
Liberty weeps
and so do I. Where
is justice??
·
The Bible makes no
outright mention of the United States in the End Times. Many speculate that
the reason for this is
that America has fallen.
Perhaps that
has something to do with our nation being led by a man who has
all of the
appearances of a man with dementia who often appears to lack
the ability to
even remember his own name and who frequently babbles
unintelligible gibberish
when speaking to the public.
He is
supposed to be an 80 million vote winner, but he cannot even
fill a single
stadium when he speaks today, while Donald Trump, who
supposedly lost by such a
landslide, fills every venue he speaks at to overflowing. America is at the
precipice of her destruction
just as the prophets predicted.
·
I
keep hearing the words “New World Order”
coming from the lips of so many world leaders.
What is it that they know that the rest of us do not??
· I
have read so many articles of how the uber-rich are purchasing
and retreating
to their apocalyptic super-luxurious underground bunkers. What do they know
that the rest of us do
not??
· Am
I the only person who is deeply alarmed to see rising numbers
of people who
openly profess to follow Satanic doctrine?
Why has witchcraft suddenly become so popular?? Am I the only one
who is revolted to see a
statue of Baphomet erected on public land here in America? As Donald Trump rose
to power,
self-proclaimed witches held public rallies to hex him. At first this all
seem like silly theater,
but it quickly became far more ominous.
I have read many articles on the exponential growth of
the Church of
Satan all over the world in recent months.
Satan is prowling the earth like a lion seeking out who
he might destroy
(1 Peter 5:8), just as the Bible tells us, and his presence is
becoming far
more dangerous as he senses the end is near.
· As
a dark veil of evil spreads across the land I cannot help but
notice how racial
hatred has vigorously grown, spreading its ugly tentacles in
every
direction. Critical
Race Theory (CRT)
preaches the hatred of everything that is white while Black
Lives Matter (BLM)
preaches that black lives matter to the exclusion of all
others. Racial
discrimination in all of its forms is
purely evil. It
separates us from
God. I find these
new forms of racial discrimination
to be disturbing and I am especially troubled to see them
coming to life and
spreading so quickly at this particular moment in history as
we grow closer to
the end of the Age of Grace and the Biblical Tribulation.
· Something
from deep within my soul tells me that the COVID crisis is the
product of a
group of very wealthy, very powerful, and very, very evil men
and women who
have been working in conjunction with supernaturally demonic
forces intent on
enslaving humanity. Personally,
I
believe that the vaccine was not developed to stop the spread
of the COVID
virus. I believe
that the vaccine was
developed first and that COVID was deliberately created and
released to force
us to willingly accept this poisonous vaccine.
The short-term damage from this poison, although being
heavily
suppressed in the news, is just now starting to become
apparent. The
U.S. Center for Disease Control (CDC) just
released a report in which their Vaccine Adverse Event
Reporting System (VAERS)
reported 11,988 deaths from the COVID vaccines up through and
including July 9,
2021. Of those
recorded deaths, 997 were
unborn infants. Additionally,
this
report listed 551,172 severe adverse reactions that included
9,274 permanent
disabilities, 59,403 emergency room visits, 30,781
hospitalizations, and 8,831
life threatening injuries. We
have yet
to see what the long-term damage will be.
· The
COVID vaccine may not be the Biblical Mark of the Beast, but
it certainly
incorporates many of the characteristics of the Mark of the
Beast set forth in
scripture. My
primary concern is that it
changes a person’s DNA. This
change is
permanent. It
never goes away, it never
weakens, and it can never be erased. The
Bible tells us that we are created in the image of God. Any change in our
DNA moves us away from our
that image. Bible
scholars have
speculated for many years that the reason the Mark of the
Beast is an
unforgivable sin and condemns that person to hell is because
it changes the
person’s DNA.
· At
the present time the COVID vaccine does not incorporate all of
the criteria set
forth in scripture for the Mark of the Beast.
Nevertheless, it is moving at an accelerated pace
toward meeting those
criteria. The
voluntary phase of being
vaccinated is rapidly coming to a close.
Many professions are requiring the shots. Pressure to inject
all of our military
members as well as all government workers continues to
increase at an alarming
rate. Much of
public transportation and
public events require proof of poisoning.
And finally, it is becoming increasingly difficult to
buy or sell
without proof in the form of a “vaccine passport.” Folks, it doesn’t
get much more apocalyptic
than this. We
truly are standing on the
edge of the Last Days.
· I
do not understand the rabid fascination by the supernationally
demonic forces
of darkness that are rising in America and the rest of the
world for requiring
the population to wear masks.
They have
been proven to be virtually ineffective in stopping the spread
of the virus due
to the incredibly small size of the virus.
Whatever the motivations of these evil entities may be,
I am absolutely
certain that they are sinister.
· The
Bible tells us of many events which will occur in the Last
Days, such as the
return of various animals in Israel and fish in the Dead Sea. These events are
happening. Additionally,
the shrubbery growing on the
wall of Temple Mount in Jerusalem is now growing to form the
Hebrew letters of
the name of God (YHVH).
· Daniel
12:4 tells us that in the Last Days many will go to and fro
and that knowledge
will be increased. For
thousands of
years transportation and communications moved at the speed of
a horse or a
boat. Look where
we are now. Additionally,
look at the frightening rate in
which technology is increasing.
In
Matthew 24:14, Jesus said that the end would come when the
gospel of the
kingdom was proclaimed throughout the whole world as a
testimony to all
nations. We have
reached that point in
mankind’s history. The
Bible has been
translated into more than 2400 languages and dialect and has
spread to every
corner of the globe.
· Our
knowledge and technology have increased to the point that we
have developed
computers with artificial intelligence (AI) that have
(apparently) become
sentient (self-aware). A machine that knows that it is alive
and can actually
think for itself. We
have, for all
intents and purposes, created life. I do
not think that God will allow mankind to proceed much further
with this.
· Although
UFOs are not specifically mentioned in the Bible, I cannot
help but feel that
they will somehow play a major role in End Time events. We have certainly
seen a significant up-tick
in UFO reports in recent months and the government is now
reluctantly admitting
that there are many sightings which they cannot explain. I believe, as do
many others, that “alien
spacecraft” may be an explanation offered by our government
for the
disappearance of millions of people in an instant. The recent increase
in UFO sightings coupled
with the up-tick in chatter from our government has increased
my feelings of
trepidation and contributed to my suspicions that there is
definitely something
going on behind our back.
· Eschatologist
have often declared that we can know what time it is on God’s
clock for
humanity by watching Israel, and more specifically, Jerusalem. Located in the heart
of Jerusalem is the
Temple Mount. Preparations
for
rebuilding the Temple, the place which scripture tells us is
where the
anti-Christ will proclaim himself to be god, is now complete. All of the
furnishings have been
re-created. The
priestly garments are
ready and the priests have been selected and trained. Israel is currently
examining several
candidates for the sacred red heifer, whose ashes are required
for purification
of the new Temple. There
has not been an
acceptable red heifer for well over 2,000 years. Even as I sit here
typing this, the necessary
red dye for the Temple is being created.
Dress rehearsals for the required animal sacrifices are
even now being
conducted. All is
ready to go at a
moment’s notice.
· The
Bible tells us that in the Last Days, Israel will flourish. Israel is
flourishing. The
Bible also tells us that in the Last Days
the hatred of Israel by the rest of the world will be great. The hatred of Israel
by the rest of the world
at the present moment is certainly great.
Israel looks to America for support in these
threatening times and finds
only betrayal and cowardice from the Biden administration.
· Israel
is a tiny nation that wants only to live in peace and worship
her God. Many
have sought a solution to the
supernatural hatred of so many in the world for the people of
Israel. All have
failed. The
solution for peace in Israel and the
entire Middle East is so incredibly simple.
If those who hate Israel would lay down their weapons
there would be
peace in the entire region.
If Israel
were to lay down her weapons, she would be destroyed
immediately.
· There
have been over 63 million abortions in the United States since
the Roe vs Wade
legislation in 1973. Well
over 63
million. Didn’t
our founding fathers
declare that every individual was endowed by their Creator
with certain
inalienable right, which included life, liberty, and the
pursuit of
happiness? What
about the part about
“life?” Worldwide,
there have been well
over 1.6 billion abortions just since 1980.
Every single one of these was a human being, created by
God, Himself,
for which God a plan for his or her life.
How much longer can we expect a just and righteous God
to permit these
atrocities to continue.
· Jesus
told us that one of the signs of His return would be wars and
rumors of
war. Conflicts
abound around the world as
each new day brings us a little closer to a nuclear war with
the potential to
kill in the billions. China,
Russia, and
America are at each-others throat and all have a huge arsenal
of nuclear
weapons. Even
now, a non-shooting war is
being waged by various governments upon each another’s
infrastructure through
the incorporation of computer hacking and “cyber-warfare.” Iran is fanatically
obsessed with obtaining a
nuclear bomb with the expressed intent of destroying Israel. They are
frighteningly close to achieving
their goal. Wars
and the rumors of war
are everywhere.
· Taking
a step back from all of this and looking at the Big Picture,
the Middle East
(and the rest of the world for that matter) cannot maintain
the status quo
forever. The
political situation and the
economic situation in the Middle East at the moment is exactly
as predicted
2000 years ago in the Bible.
Worldwide political
and economic situations are fluid. They
are constantly changing.
I expect to see
the Rapture of the Church very soon while the world stage is
still set as it is
now.
· In
a normal world I would look for sanity and expect to find it
in our
institutions of higher learning.
Instead, I find some of the most absurd statements
coming from
professors of our finest universities.
Examples would include proclamations that men can
become pregnant, all
white people should be killed, mathematics is racist, Donald
Trump is an alien
from outer space, and that “global warming” was caused by cow
flatulence. Even
though it is not mentioned in the Bible
as a sign of the Last Days, I find this academic lunacy to be
incredibly
disturbing. Certainly,
we must be close
to the end.
· I
can remember a time when being a congressman or a senator, or
even a person who
was entrusted with a high public office, was considered to be
an honor and that
person was to be trusted.
There was even
a time not so long ago when everyone knew that if the United
States Government
said something, it was the rock-solid truth.
Look at how far we have fallen.
The Bible does not specifically list this as a sign of
the End Times,
but deep in my soul I know that this political lunacy is a
warning to all of us
that the end is near.
· God
wrote a book that became the greatest bestseller of all time. It was a book for us
to guide us in how we
should live our lives. In
the very first
chapter of the Bible, God told us that He put the sun, moon,
and stars in the
sky to be signs and seasons for us.
These signs are visible to all the world and speak to
all people regardless
of what language they may speak or understand.
Leading up to these present days we have seen tetrads
of blood moons,
super moons, eclipses, a huge uptick in meteors and fireballs
streaking across
the night sky, and so much more.
Many of
these events occurred on otherwise significant dates on our
calendar. The
scope of this material is far too numerous
to summarize here. The
vast number of
these occurrences are staggering. What
is even more significant is how all of these celestial
spectacles seem to be
converging. They
are warning mankind
that something really big is about to happen.
A sense of foreboding is building and we all feel it to
one degree or
another.
· One
prophetic sign in the heavens really stands out to me. The Book of
Revelation is the last book of
the Bible and it is a book devoted almost exclusively to the
End Times. An
entire chapter of this last book is about
a celestial alignment, known as the Revelation 12 Sign, that
has never occurred
before and will never occur again in all of history. This alignment took
place on September 23,
2017, and deals with the Rapture of the Church. I believe that God was
announcing to the world
that the greatest event since the crucifixion, and perhaps in
all of mankind’s
history, is about to take place.
· The
explosive growth of the LGBTQ+P movement strikes me as a sign
that the end is
near. Contrary to
the agenda they
present, the LGBTQ+P community does not seek loving acceptance
and equality in
our society. Instead,
we are drenched in
the venom and hatred they spew forth.
What I find disturbingly noteworthy is their intense
hatred of God as a
fundamental tenement of their platform.
The Bible tells us quite clearly that God will not be
mocked. Our God
is a patient God, but there is a
limit to His patients for blasphemy.
· We
are told in the Bible that in the Last Days many will fall
away from the
faith. Sadly, we
are now seeing an
ever-increasing number of denominations caving in to the
threats and demands of
the homosexual community.
Same sex
marriage is becoming condoned as all manner of other sins are
becoming
acceptable. The
Catholic Church has
suffered horribly from sexual perversion in these deepening
and darkening End
Times. Even the
Boy Scouts of America
have suffered. Their
organization voted
to allow transgenered girls to become members and also
admitted homosexuals to
be leaders and scout masters.
With a
profound sadness, I noted that this once flourishing icon of
both Christian and
American moral values filed for bankruptcy on February 18,
2020.
· Our
military has become frighteningly weakened by its penchant to
become
politically correct. Training
has
suffered because of it. Moral
has
suffered horribly as well.
As Laura
Ingram recently commented on Fox News, the Pentagon is under
the spell of
corporate America. She
went on to
suggest that our military should stay out of politics and
focus on winning wars
(Good for you, Laura. Good
for
you). Along the
same lines I would add
that many factors, such as a lack of spare parts, has also
seriously weakened
our military and what we do have is rapidly becoming
antiquated. Managers
in our military have gone from
promising to do more with less to having to do everything with
nothing. I
tremble at the thought at what our
military, as well as the world, will become if this trend
continues.
· The
prophet Isaiah told us that in the Last Days, that which is
considered to be is
good will be regarded as bad and that which is considered to
be bad will be
regarded as being good (Isaiah 5:20). I
certainly find that is true today.
· The
Bible tells us that the earth longs to be free of the curse. Paul tells us in
Romans 8:22 that “all of
creation is groaning as if in the pains of childbirth right up
to the present
time.” I see this
as an allegory to
point to and explain the huge up-tick we are now seeing in
earthquakes,
volcanos, and freakish weather.
Joel
2:30 tells us of blood, fire, and columns of smoke in the Last
Days. I see this
as a reference to an increase in
volcanic activity.
· Ezekiel
and Obadiah told us over 2500 years ago that in the Last Days
the Arab people
will claim the land of Israel which God gave to the Jews
(Ezekiel 35:5, 10;
36:2,5). This
certainly sounds like the
(so-called) Palestinians of today.
· The
Bible says that in the Last Days the possession of Jerusalem
will be a major
source of international conflict (Zechariah 12:3). Zechariah called
Jerusalem a burdensome stone
and a cup of trembling. Over
2,500 years
ago God knew that in the Last Days Jerusalem’s very existence
would cause the
world to shudder even though it is a small city with no
natural resources, no
port, as well as having insignificant manufacturing and
industrial
capabilities. Prior
to 1948 world
diplomatic leaders seldom even mentioned Jerusalem.
· The
Bible says that in the Last Days Aliyah will be taking place. Aliyah is a Hebrew
word that means the
physical return of the Jewish people (Jewish diaspora) to
their ancient
Promised Land from abroad (Ezekiel 36:22-28 and Isaiah
11:10-12). Ever
since the great influx of Jews began
back into the Promised Land started, there has been a gradual
slowing down of
the number who are returning.
Israel is
now nearing zero growth from immigration.
This may be an indication that Israel is nearing the
number of Jews
which God has appointed to live in the Land when the Day of
the Lord begins. If
so, the Day of the Lord may be right
around the corner.
· The
Bible says that in the Last Days world politics will be
focused on Israel
(Zechariah 12:13). Just
prior to the
Rapture, Israel will be surrounded on every side by enemies
(Psalms 83:4). The
alignment of all of the nations mentioned
in Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38 against Israel has occurred exactly
as Asaph and
Ezekiel described.
· Zephaniah
3:9 said that in the Last Days there will be a revival of the
Hebrew
language. When
the Jews were dispersed
in 70 A.D., they ceased to speak Hebrew.
The Jews who settled in Europe developed Yiddish, which
is a combination
of Hebrew and German. The
Jews who
settled in the Mediterranean basin created Ladino, which is a
combination of
Hebrew and Spanish. Now
the Jews are
speaking Hebrew again. This
has never
happened before, where a language has died and then come back
to life again.
· Jesus
told us that in the Last Days there will be many general
indicators that will
be a sign of His return.
All of these
general indicators are now present and they are taking place
with an ever-increasing
frequency and intensity.
Some of these
general indicators include: Earthquakes that will be occurring
globally
(Matthew 24:7, Luke 21:11, Isaiah 24:19-20, Revelation
6:12-14, Revelation
16:18-20). There
will be violent weather
(Luke 21:25). There
will also be an
increase in the frequency and intensity of other natural
disasters not
specifically named (Romans 8:21-22). Famines
will be common (Matthew 24:7).
Deadly
diseases (pestilence) will be rampant (Matthew 24:7,
Revelation 6:8, Luke
21:11). Many will
rejoice in their
unrighteousness (2 Thessalonians 2:12). There will be a
falling away of believers and
an increase in false prophets (2 Timothy 4:1).
Many Christians and church doctrines will depart from
the faith (1
Timothy 4:1). Many
Christians will be
lukewarm in their faith (Revelation 3:15).
There will be a mixture of true believers and false
believers within the
Church body (Matthew 13:24-30).
There
will be an increase in blasphemy (2 Timothy 3:2). Idolatry will be
common (Revelation 9:20).
False Christs and false prophets will be very
effective in the art of deception (Matthew 24:24). False prophets and
religious cults will
flourish (2 Peter 2:1). These
false
prophets will be money hungry, smooth talkers (2 Peter 2:3). A growing number of
TV evangelists epitomize
this. They twist
the scriptures to make
merchandise of the unwary.
Jews and
Christians will be hated for their faith in and connection
with Christ (Luke
21:17). Even
though Israel will be the
focus of many fulfilled prophecies in the Last Days, most Jews
will remain
blind to the fact that Jesus is their Messiah until the very
end (Luke
19:41-42, Luke 13:34-35, Romans 11:25-26). There will be
increasing despair (2 Timothy
3:1). Humanity
would become increasingly
materialistic and lovers of pleasure (2 Tim 3:1-5). There will be an
increase in lawlessness and
evil during the last days (Luke 17:26 and 2 Timothy 3:15). The Bible predicted
that Jerusalem would be
trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are
fulfilled (Luke
21:24). Since 70
AD Jerusalem has been
trampled by Gentiles until the Jews regained control of the
city during the
1967 Six-Day War. Mankind
will be in a
state of moral and spiritual decay (2 Peter 3:3-4 and 2
Timothy 3: 1-5). Children
will be disobedient and rebellious (2
Timothy 3:2). Mockers
will abound (Jude
1:18 and 2 Peter 3:3-4). There
will be
warfare all over the earth (Mark 13:8 and Matthew 24:6). Mankind will be
desperately seeking peace (1
Thessalonians 5:3). Israel
will be
embroiled in peace talks that will include many nations
(Daniel 9:27). A
system of real time global communication
will exist (Revelation 11:9). The
gospel
will be preached to all nations (Matthew 24:14, Mark 13:10,
Revelation 14.
Conclusion
We
are standing on the edge of time and the inhabitants of the
entire world can
sense that something big is about to take place. Not only are all of
the events I discussed
above occurring now, they all seem to be converging on our
immediate
future. I would
speculate that the major
worldwide event that all of this is leading up to is the
Rapture of the Church. I
would further speculate that this will
occur at some point during 2021.
If
I were to hazard a guess as to when, my first choice would be
the Feast of
Trumpets (September 6-8).
My second
choice would be the Day of Atonement, also known as Yom Kippur
(September 15 –
16), and my third choice would be the Feast of Tabernacles
(September 20 – 27)
with September 22 – 23 being the most likely days within that
time period.
The
dates suggested above are pure speculation on my part. Revelation 3:3 seems
to tell us that if we
are watching for the Lord’s return, we can know the very hour
on which it will
happen. That, at
least is my
interpretation of that scripture.
Remember
therefore how you have received and
heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not
watch, I will come upon
you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come
upon you. NKJV
Regardless
of whether
or not my assumptions are correct, we are indeed very close. The lengthening
shadows of the palpable End
Time darkness are discernable to all and can no longer be
denied or ignored.
