When the church re-opened its doors last year ( May 2020) there was a somber tone to the priorities we needed to correct within the church.

And the cry was that we "ought to obey God, rather than man." Acts 5:29

But lately, I've noticed a change.

Our emphasis is now on political men changing America for the better.

Guest speakers from one party in particular are making the circuit, telling us that we can change the mess we're in by getting out the vote.

How anyone could believe in elections after the circus last November 2020 is beyond my wildest imagination.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results.

Derek Prince is quite forthright in telling us that we are past the point of of no return and are in denial, still trusting in man

to do what only God can do at this point.

And that is to change the heart and quit trusting in political parties. ...To deepen our spiritual life....

To take up our cross *daily* and come follow Jesus. For me, it means being a prayer warrior in our prayer closets.

"My house shall be called a house of prayer."
