""Tough" isn't it?"

By 1 Cor 10:31

To KEEP WATCH constantly (well that part’s not hard for a true blue “watcher”)….. but to do that AND continue on with life!!  Working for a living, taking care of each other, praying for one another…. Getting it all in!!

Sure I’d rather be watching FULL TIME now that we’re down to the wire especially!!  But…. I’ve still got a husband who likes to eat (hmm, come to think of it, so do I!)  and a house to clean, and a dog to take care of…..work, friends, different things going on in my life……

Oh that we can find that RIGHT BALANCE which may be a little different for each of us.

Jesus will step out on a cloud soon.  And while this house (which I guess most would think ah, what a nice house! Wow, you guys are fortunate!)….. and while I don’t doubt that and am of course thankful to have a roof over our heads, no one but no one (looking in “from the outside”)  would know or even guess there are at least 20 “MAJOR” things falling apart with this house!!  I mean, it’s costing mega $$ to even keep it  going – without crumbling in around us!!   Point being:  once UP THERE (in heaven)  we will dwell IN MANSIONS “bought and paid for” (no mortgages, yay!!)  and guess what else??  Will have NO NEED of MAINTENANCE EITHER!!!!!  E V E R!!!   Won’t it be glorious to never have to hammer another nail?  Or clean cobwebs?  Or re-shingle the roof?  On & on & on…..

Can’t wait!  Eager to go….. and yet, patiently we watch, hope & tell others….. and keep our hands to the plow in the process!!!!

Dear brothers and sisters, be patient as you wait for the Lord’s return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen.   James 5:7   NLT
