When Jesus said,

Luke 17:32 Remember Lot’s wife.

Was it so we would not end up like Lot's wife?

Or was it a warning that Lot didn't really know of his wife's spiritual condition, until it was too late?

Do we simply take for granted, that our loved ones are saved?

We wouldn't want to offend then or anger them by asking.

But how much worse to find out the hard way that they weren't?
