I realize all are welcome to read this!
Mary, I wanted to THANK YOU SOOO much for your compassion for my friend & neighbor who was losing her Golden Retriever!! {the dog did pass 2 weeks ago & as I rather expected, PB is “inconsolable”!!!} When a person gets like that I almost don’t know what to say – b/c frankly they will not ACCEPT comfort! And then it feels like anything/everything I say is the “wrong” thing!! ☹
Generally I try to not be negligent in responding to email. But oh vey, as they say…. My own life has been filled with such drama & trauma lately!!
‘sides, every time I’d make my way to the computer – I’d get sidetracked & actually forget what I came for! Ha! (age play into that?! 😉 yet it’s EASY to get sidetracked for anyone – what with the internet just SCREAMING at us – you know, can’t even look at a site without 50 flash ads in your face! Grrr!! Annoying!
Though your heart is so precious & compassionate towards dogs & dog lovers & you are so greatly appreciated…. Yet PB would be MORTIFIED if she even knew I put that prayer request online for all the world to see!! Thus, it’s best to not send a card. Though your gesture is generous & much appreciated.
Please just pray for her! We say “just” as though that’s like we’re doing nothing – when in fact, oftentimes it’s the BEST thing we can for one another!! She’s a lifelong Presbyterian and yet still conservative & expects to see Jesus soon. I try to comfort her with that, too!! That she WILL see her loved ones again!! BOTH PEOPLE AND PETS!!!!!!!!!
Thank you, Mary, so much for understanding!!
I’m sending you a CYBER HUG!!!
Till we officially meet in heaven!!
😊 😊 😊
