Worrying Trend

It was infuriating reading this article. Child sex abuse is child sex abuse.........period. What struck me was that the emphasis is on the victim's financial "compensation". No mention of the predators and the awful emotional turmoil created by their sick actions. This is such a ridiculous system, where the law is allowed to find so-called "legal" arguments to excuse this evil. It's not a business deal or a commercial contract or a divorce case, where loop holes can be found and used. These are children who have been coerced and wronged by the adult world. There should be no if's or buts. It should be cut and dried. No excuses. Period. The abusers should be jailed and forced to pay for the victim's psychological treatment AS WELL as financial compensation to make the victim's lives a little easier. This sexual sickness is pure evil.
