The above article is about a debate among theologians whether or not a Christian can hide his Faith (deny Our Lord ) when threatened with persecution or death.

J Vernon McGee of "Through the Bible Radio" used to always say,
"The answer is so simple...only a theologian could miss it.

Here is Jesus' answer in Matthew 16: 24--26:
"For whosoever will save his life shall lose it;

And whosoever will lose his life for My sake, shall find it."

It can't get any plainer than that, except for Esther's courageous reply:
" If I die, I die. " Esther 4:16

"To live is Christ, to die is Gain"  Philippians 1:21

May we all encourage one another in the Faith, accepting martyrdom if need be.

Jesus' words to the Smyrna Church ( Rev. 2: 10 ),
"Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer... be thou faithful unto death and I will give thee the crown of life ".

If Jesus could die for us, can not we die for Him ?

" A perfect love casts out fear" 1 John 4:18 also
2 Timothy 1:7.

May we always have that peace that passes all understanding... no matter who... what...why... where or when.
