Last night I watched Jack Van Impe. Over the years I've watched his program a number of times. Some times I agree and other times not so much. I was surprised to hear him say that he has changed his thinking on who the end-time world empire would be. He said it would be composed of a group of European and Islamic countries.
This was based on his study of the feet of the statue in Daniel.
For 16 years I have written about the feet of the statue in Daniel. The Roman empire did indeed encompass Europe and the countries of the Middle East and Northern Africa. Since there are 2 feet on the statue, I believe one foot is comprised of European countries and the second foot is comprised of Islamic counties. History shows us that there were 2 Roman empires. We are very familiar with the Western Roman empire in Italy, but we are less familiar with the Eastern Roman empire that was based in Constantinople.

My belief is that the statue in Daniel is satan's false counterfeit. It is made to look like a man. Satan always makes counterfeits. Always. My belief is that his counterfeit statue with feet that represent the end-time world empire is a badly distorted image of the church (the body of Christ) and that the feet of Christ's body (the church) is the end-time church. We are the feet of Christ's body. We are the end-time church just like the feet of the statue represent the end-time world empire!
