Falling Away of the Church

                                                                  Departing of the Church


            The debate continues.  Well, which is it we ask ourselves, since
many of the folks we all look to for "accurate" translation of the original
text, both Greek and Latin,  have down through the Centuries come to us.  Let's
concede the fact that the "Falling Away" interpretation  has the greater
following and "Departing" the lesser.  Do numbers, themselves , make for
TRUTH? Not always and especially when it comes to the BIBLE .  The
TRUTH is said to be HIDDEN from the PROUD and that FEW would have
UNDERSTANDING.  Is that the case here? Let's kick it around a bit and
see what we can come up with for ourselves.  The fact is MOST people in
the CHURCH  are NOT preTRIB believers and the FALLING AWAY is
blatantly obvious in America today seeming to validate that concept.  No
one can deny this.  Since the DEPARTURE concept entails SURPRISE
and that "it will come when no one is looking for it" in and of itself means
you would have to keep yourself in a state of constant "readiness" and
people find that HARD to do.  Much easier to wait for those in whom we
look to for word of when they deem the Falling Away would be sufficient
to start "looking up"  We are after all a lazy society now and a constant vigil
is tiring, especially for the long haul.  I want to interject here that those
who have a Personal Relationship with JESUS through the INDWELLING
of the HOLY SPIRIT do not find the "waiting" to be near so hard as those
who don't as HE is wonderful company and an absolute pleasure to be with.
(this is why I push so hard in my witnessing for people to come to KNOW
HIM on a very personal level so they can ENJOY HIM in the here and now)
Knowing HIM makes life, in this rotten world, so much more bearable.
        I am a firm believer in the "believing without seeing" concept and seeing
the AC would take away that type of FAITH in that "seeng" a false christ
would by theory, have to prove the existence of the REAL one.  I know
that concept probably would draw some argument, but that's tough!  I
don't care what others may think of that, it rings true with me.  Also., the
Doctrine of Immanence is held to by some VERY  learned people in the
study of Eschatology today.  I believe in it too!  That theory, if true,
requires a "Departure" that would be SUDDEN in nature as it has to be
if people would generally NOT be looking for it.  All that being said, it
cannot be denied that there is indeed a "falling away" in our country of late
that even "Formies" and non-believers alike would have to admit.  So it
 Seems that both concepts have confirming patterns that are manifesting
In our world.  My thoughts would be to believe in the "Pre-trib" as TRUTH
and watch the "Falling away" as an indicator of HOW CLOSE the trigger
 is to being pulled to"shoot" us up into the sky.  Take it to the LORD in
PRAYER and then LISTEN to what HE SAYS .
