I think Isa 8:19 has the answer someone raised on whether we should consult occult sources.

"When someone tells you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living?" (Isa 8:19)

Nothing you hear from the enemy can be considered conclusive.  And keep in mind that irregardless of what you might hear about that they have planned, G-d is in control.
