"ROSH HASHANNAH - THE 1ST OF TISHRI- IS TODAY THE 31ST OF AUGUST 2011!!!"

Hi Doves,

According to the Torah Calendar, the 1st of Tishri [Rosh HaShannah] is today the 31st of August 2011.

This is the day the Lord speaks Words [trumpets] that bring to His remembrance all the good deeds we have done towards others, by His Holy Spirit.

Our good deeds are burnt offerings and sacrifices that can only be accepted by Him if they originate from His Holy Spirit within us in the first place.

Our burnt offerings and sacrifices serve as a memorial before the Lord.

They are what will enable the Lord to "lock on to us" when the translation of the saints occurs during the feast of tabernacles!

"The sons of Aaron [signifying the Holy Spirit of the Lord], the priests shall blow the trumpets...at the beginning of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and  over the sacrifices...and they shall be a memorial for you before your God..." [Num.10:8,10]

Many Christians have failed to understand that how they live their lives from day to day is either a burn offering to God or a burnt offering to idols.

"...present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service." [Rom.12:1]

For only those who are living lives as burnt offerings to God will be remembered to be included in the rapture.

We see a similar thing in the salvation of Cornelius and his household.

Note very carefully what the angel told him.

"There was a certain man in Caesar-ea called Cornelius...a devout man and one who feared God with all his household, who gave alms generously to the people, and prayed to God always...About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God...saying to him, "Cornelius!"...Your prayers and alms have come up for a memorial before God. Now send men to Joppa, and send for Simon whose surname is Peter." [Acts 10:1-5]

Cornelius feared God as a direct result of this he and his household practised righteousness.

Because he practised righteousness, his alms and prayers where accepted as a memorial before God.

All that he needed to know was that the God he feared and worshipped so devoutly was indeed the Lord Jesus Christ!

This is why Peter began his speech with the following words:

"In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him." [Acts 10:34]

Notice for Cornelius, and his household, there was no call to repentance and no sinner's prayer made!

They all went on straight to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

Because they now believed that Jesus Christ is God.

For the Holy Spirit can only be received by those who believe that Jesus Christ is the only God of heaven and earth.

"While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word. And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished...because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. For they heard them speak with tongues..." [Acts 10:44-46]

Many Christian believe, in error, that they don't need to practise righteousness in their private lives.

All they need to do is say "the sinners prayer"

They don't realise that without practising righteousness day by day, they have been rejected by the Lord for the rapture already.

And that those, from other religions, who fear God and do good to others, have a much better chance of being included in the rapture!

So many Christians are in for a big shock!
