"Jesus has compassion on the brokenhearted. He understands your pain."

The Lord helped me to see the other day something. He still has His wounds.

“And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.” Zechariah 13:6 Biblegateway

So, when He holds our hands we’re holding His nail scared hands. There’s nothing to fear when He’s holding our hands.

“For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.” Isaiah 41:13 Biblegateway

Jesus knows what it’s like to be broken. He helped me to see that He was broken so that we could be made whole. His heart was broken in more ways than one. That’s why He’s able to be so close to the broken hearted. If you’re dealing with emotional heartache, He understands. If you’re dealing with a physical heart issue (like brugada) He understands what that’s like to. I read in Lee Strobel’s book, “The Case For Christ” that the Lord died of suffocation and went into cardiac arrest.

He will take our hands, with His nail scared hands, all the way into Heaven.

Psalm 23:4 “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”

Psalm 73:23 -24

“Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.

Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.”

Lastly, please remember that Jesus has a big hug waiting on you. And when He gives you your big hug He will be doing it with those beautiful nail scared hands.
