"Australian PM to Visit China Soon! Hmmm!"

Hi John and Doves,

This is interesting....coming hot on the heels of Obama's recent jaunt to Australia. What struck me was the bit of information tucked into the article re "The last time an Australian PM paid an official visit to Bejing was in 1973". That was 50 years ago. What else was 50 years ago? The Yom Kippur War, is what! October 6th to 25th, 1973, to be exact. The war lasted 19 days. See 2nd link.

The Australian PM at the time - Gough Whitlam - visited China in October and November 1973.

Australia is a very large trading partner with China. There appears to be a mad scramble going on for different leaders to assert themselves on the world stage.

Please come, LORD Jesus.
