Jesus warned the church in Thyatira:

Revelation 2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

Does anyone know what was that great tribulation suffered by those in that church, in John's day?

As for our day, is this warning also pertinent to us?
