At Mt. Sinai, God came down and gave the ten commandments to Israel on Pentecost. At Mt. Zion, he came down and gave the Holy Spirit to believers on Pentecost. Since both mounts represent Heaven, it seems likely that the First-Trump Rapture of ITh 4:16,17 will take place on Pentecost.
According to Ed Vallowe, 50 means Holy Spirit. That ties in nicely with Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit came to indwell believers.
The Greek pentekoste means fiftieth. Fifty not only suggests the Feast of Pentecost, it suggests the Jubilee Year, and this year, 5776, is the Jubilee.
Pentecost, the harvest feast, was well marked. The Ten Commandments were given on Pentecost as part of the Lord's marriage covenant with Israel. That reminds me of the 5 wise virgins who will be the Bride of Christ.
It is amazing that June is the favorite month for weddings. The Bride of Christ may be raptured on Pentecost, the 50th Omer in the 50th year, 5776, Sunday, June 12, 2016. The Jubilee Year follows the Sabbatical Year, 5775, which divides by 7 equally.
The omer (Hebrew: omer) is an ancient Israelite unit of dry measure used in the era of the Temple in Jerusalem. It means a heap, or sheaf. It is used in the Bible as an ancient unit of volume for grains and dry commodities, and the Torah mentions it as being equal to one tenth of an ephah.
An ephah represents the church being lifted up in Zech 5.
Zech 5:9-11 says, "Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women (i.e., church groups), and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven. 10 Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah? 11 And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base."
Shinar is where the Tower of Babel was built, at Babylon.
Gen 11:2-4 says, "And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. 3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. 4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven".
Lev 25:10-13 says, "And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty (deror, to move rapidly) throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile (Heb. yobel, the blast of a horn, i.e., the First-Trump Rapture?) unto you; and ye shall return (shub, TAKE) every man unto his possession, and ye shall return (shub, TAKE) every man unto his family. A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed. (i.e., according to Song 2:10:f, the Rapture is the time of firstripe grapes) 12 For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field. 13 In the year of this jubile ye shall return (shub, take) every man unto his possession (achuzzah, possession, especially of land)."

Lev 23:15-17 says, "And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete: 16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD. 17 Ye shall BRING OUT OF YOUR HABITATIONS TWO WAVE LOAVES of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the FIRSTFRUITS unto the LORD."

Actually, Jesus died on the Preparation of the Passover, Thursday, Nisan 13, 3790, April 6, 30 AD.
Joh_19:14 says, "And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!"
MT. SINAI SEEMS TO BE A PICTURE OF A PENTECOST RAPTURE
Pentecost, also called the Feast of Weeks, is the feast of harvest. We are wheat, and Pentecost is the beginning of the wheat harvest.
Luk_22:31 says, "And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat".
Mat_13:30 says, "Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn."
"Tares...the bearded darnel, mentioned only in Matthew 13:25-30 . It is the Lolium temulentum, a species of rye-grass, the seeds of which are a strong soporific poison. Exo_34:22 says, "And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest".
Rth_2:23 says, "So she (i.e., Ruth, type of the bride of Christ) kept fast by the maidens of Boaz to glean unto the end of barley harvest and of WHEAT HARVEST".
Deu 4:30,31 says, "When thou art IN TRIBULATION, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; 31 (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them."
Mt. Sinai was the shadow, and they heard the voice of God. I believe Pentecost will be the reality, and we will hear the voice of God saying, "Come up hither".
THE FIRST-TRUMP RAPTURE
Rev_4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, COME UP HITHER, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter."
THE FIRST-TRUMP RAPTURE IS MID-TRIB JUST BEFORE THE FALSE PROPHET COMES TO POWER
Rev 13:5-11 says, "And there was given unto him (i.e., Antichrist) a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months (i.e., until Mid-Trib). 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and THEM THAT DWELL IN HEAVEN. 7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints (i.e., those left behind at the First-Trump Rapture), and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9 If any man have an ear, let him hear. 10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Heb 12:18-24 says, "ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched (i.e., Mt. 1Co_15:20 says, "But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept."
WE ARE "A KIND OF FIRSTFRUITS"
Jas_1:18 says, "Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures."
1Co_15:23 says, "But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming."
THE FIRST-TRUMP RAPTURE

1Co 15:51-54 says, "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory."
Rev_11:12,13 says, "And they (i.e., Moses and Elijah) heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, COME UP HITHER. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. 13 And the same hour was there a great EARTHQUAKE, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven."

The Hebrew Date Converter lists Sivan 5, 5776 as Sat, 11 June 2016. Pentecost will start at 6 PM. I am hoping for the First-Trump Rapture on this Pentecost in this Jubilee Year, 5776.
