"Another look at Isaiah 66"

Dear Doves,

The book of Isaiah,  with it's. 66 chapters has been called " the little Bible ", corresponding to the 66 books in the Bible.
Perhaps Isaiah 66, mirrors the last book in the Bible,  Revelations.
Isaiah 66 verse 1,  could be God 's opinion of the Third Temple.
Thus saith the Lord. The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Where is the house that ye build unto me? And where is the place of my rest?
The next few verses seem to express God 's frustration.  Clearly the blood sacrifices have been restored.  As Christians we know that Jesus was the last and final sacrifice.
Verses 4 and 5,  show his response to this third and final Temple,  which obviously has the hand of the Antichrist all over it.  Verse 5, ends with an allusion to his return. " he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed".
Verse 66:6. announces the voice of the A/C,  standing in this third temple.

Doves,  be warry but weary!  joechappell
