"Marilyn Agee RE:YOUR POST TO ME ( 6 April 2012) YOU MIGHT WANT TO RE-THINK THIS ONE.....""

Hi Marilyn,
> > First compare the following Scripture in both the NKJV and the NIV:
Matthew 24:28 (NKJV)
"For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together."
Matthew 24:28 (NIV)
"Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather."
Now compare the following Scripture in both the NKJV and the NIV:
Luke 17:37 (NKJV)
"Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered."
Luke 17:37 (NIV)
"Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather."
Both Matthew 24:28 and Luke 17:37 are using the words "eagles" and "vultures" inter-changably because of the following Scriptures:
Ezekiel 39:4
"I will give you to birds of prey of every sort..."
Ezekiel 39:17
"....Speak to every sort of bird........Gather together....."
Ezekiel 39:20
"You shall be filled at My table with horses (carcasses) and riders (bodies)..."
Now you can see that both Matthew 24:28 and Luke 17:37 are describing the very same event in Ezekiel 39, and it has absolutely nothing at all to do with the Body of Christ in heaven or high flying tribulation saints.
When the Scriptures speak of "wings of eagles" it is entirely a different thing from 'eagles being gathered to carcasses and bodies' for a feast.

Hi:

I have considered your interpretation in the past, but I’d rather THE LORD SAID, “I BARE YOU ON EAGLES’ WINGS, AND BROUGHT YOU UNTO MYSELF” (Ex 19:4). I think that applies to us today. The Israelites walked to Mt. Sinai on foot.

That’s not the only place that says it. Isa_40:31 says, “But THEY THAT WAIT UPON THE LORD SHALL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH; THEY SHALL MOUNT UP WITH WINGS AS EAGLES; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint “

ON THE DAY OF GOD’S WRATH, THOSE CAUGHT UP IN THE FIRST-TRUMP RAPTURE WILL BE GATHERED FROM ONE END OF HEAVEN TO THE OTHER

Mat 24:31 says, “And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of HEAVEN to the other.”

AT THE SAME TIME, ALL THE GREAT-TRIBULATION SAINTS WILL BE GATHERED FROM ONE END OF THE EARTH TO THE OTHER

Mar 13:27 says, “And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the EARTH to the uttermost part of HEAVEN.

THERE SHALL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH

Luk 12:46 says, “The lord of that servant (the unwise believer) will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder (lit., cut him off), and will appoint him his portion (i.e., the Great Tribulation) with the unbelievers.”

Mat 24:50,51 says, “The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder (i.e., CUT HIM OFF), and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites (pretenders, i.e., during the Great Tribulation): THERE SHALL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH.”

Mat_22:13 says, “Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; THERE SHALL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH.”

Mat_8:12 says, “But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: THERE SHALL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH.”
Mat_13:42 says, “And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: THERE SHALL BE WAILING AND GNASHING OF TEETH.”
Mat_13:50 says, “And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: THERE SHALL BE WAILING AND GNASHING OF TEETH.”
Mat_25:30  says, “And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: THERE SHALL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH.”

Luk_13:28 says, “THERE SHALL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.“

WHERE THE BODY OF CHRIST IS, IN HEAVEN, THITHER WILL THE EAGLES, THE TRIBULATION SAINTS, BE GATHERED TOGETHER

Luk 17:26-37 says, “And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days (plural, because there are two) of the Son of man (i.e., on the Day of Christ and the Day of the Lord). 27  They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28  Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29  But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30  Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed (i.e., when they see the Sign of the Son of Man in the sky). 31  In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. 32  Remember Lot's wife. 33  Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. 34  I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. 35  Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 36  Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 37  And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? (i.e., where will the one be taken?) And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body (i.e., the Body of Christ) is (it’s in Heaven), thither will the eagles (i.e., the Tribulation saints, like birds that fly high in the heavens) be gathered together. “

Mat 22:1-14 says, “And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, 2  The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, 3  And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. 4  Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. 5  But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: 6  And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. 7  But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. 8  Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. 9  Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. 10  So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. 11  And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: 12  And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. 13  Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; THERE SHALL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH.” 14  FOR MANY ARE CALLED, BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN.”

I think the chosen will be represented by the barley in the 40 omers. TODAY (it is past midnight) is Omer 1. I want to be in that group.

“THEY THAT ARE WITH HIM ARE CALLED, AND CHOSEN, AND FAITHFUL.”

Rev 17:14 says, “These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are CALLED, AND CHOSEN, AND FAITHFUL. “

I just saw a picture of the Holy Fire in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. It came down on Saturday as before.
