"TO: MARTIN -- WILL ENOCH BE ONE OF THE TWO WITNESSES?"

Hi Martin,

In regard to your post at http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/apr2012/martin411.htm
that is the first time I ever heard the following verses interpreted as you interpreted them:

Enoch 1:1-2, "The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed."
In those verses above, I didn't think Enoch was referring to himself who will be living in the day of tribulation; I thought that he was referring to the elect and righteous who will be living in the day of tribulation. However, since Enoch didn't die, then he will be alive during the day of tribulation like you pointed out.  The question is whether he is alive in heaven during the day of tribulation or alive on earth during the day of tribulation as one of theTwo Witnesses in Revelation 11?   According to Hebrew 11:5, "By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God."  That verse in Hebrews makes me wonder since Enoch was translated that he should not see death, then how could he be one of the Two Witnesses in Revelation 11 who dies because if he dies then he shall see death.
