"TO: Marilyn Agee RE:YOUR POST TO ME ( 6 April 2012) YOU MIGHT WANT TO RE-THINK THIS ONE....."

Hi Marilyn,

First compare the following Scripture in both the NKJV and the NIV:

Matthew 24:28 (NKJV)
"For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together."
Matthew 24:28 (NIV)
"Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather."

Now compare the following Scripture in both the NKJV and the NIV:

Luke 17:37 (NKJV)
"Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered."
Luke 17:37 (NIV)
"Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather."

Both Matthew 24:28 and Luke 17:37 are using the words "eagles" and "vultures" inter-changably because of the following Scriptures:

Ezekiel 39:4
"I will give you to birds of prey of every sort..."
Ezekiel 39:17
"....Speak to every sort of bird........Gather together....."
Ezekiel 39:20
"You shall be filled at My table with horses (carcasses) and riders (bodies)..."

Now you can see that both Matthew 24:28 and Luke 17:37 are describing the very same event in Ezekiel 39, and it has absolutely nothing at all to do with the Body of Christ in heaven or high flying tribulation saints.

When the Scriptures speak of "wings of eagles" it is entirely a different thing from 'eagles being gathered to carcasses and bodies' for a feast.
