Dear Doves,
On the Day of our rapture the FIRST
sounding of the trumpet of God will
raise/resurrect the dead in Christ FIRST:
1 Corinthians 15:51-52
"For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will
be raised incorruptable......"
1 Thessalonians 4:16
"....and with the trump of God, And the dead in
Christ will rise first...."
Then soon after that event is complete, On
the Day of our rapture, the LAST
sounding of the trumpet of God will
change/glorify us who are not dead:
1 Corinthians 15:51
"We shall not all SLEEP, but we
shall ALL be changed in a moment, in the
twinkling of an eye, AT THE LAST TRUMP.
1 Corinthians 15:53
"For this corruptable must put on
incorruption ( ie. the dead in Christ), and this mortal
must put on immortality ( ie. the living in
Christ)."
Therefore, on the Day of our rapture there are
two trumpet soundings: the FIRST SOUNDING
of the trumpet will raise/resurrect the dead in Christ FIRST,
and then soon after that event is completed, at
the LAST SOUNDING of the trumpet we who are
alive will be changed/glorified. Then
BOTH the resurrected dead and the glorified
living will be caught up/raptured together to
meet the Lord in the air.
There is but ONE rapture of His
Church/bride with two separate trumpet
soundings ,which accomplish two different
tasks ,on the same Day of our rapture. The
first trumpet raises the dead, and the last
trumpet changes (ie. glorifies) the living just
before we are then caught up together to meet the Lord
in the air.
Many people confuse the "last trumpet"
on the Day of our rapture with the seventh
and last trumpet judgement in Revelation 11:15. His
Church/bride will be safely tucked away in heaven when
the seventh and last trumpet judgement is sounded. These
are entirely two different 'last trumpets'
on two entirely different days.
According to Your Word, come Lord Jesus!
